Do u make one for a poor performance or because your players fitness is low,I have often been in front in a game against a better team and then made a substitution and gone on to lose the game. Wot do ppl think and what do they do regarding subs. | | | | | 07-04-08, 11:11 AM | #2 (permalink) | | Used In Squad Rotation Join Date: May 2006 Location: Essex Posts: 269 Thanks: 114 Thanked 31 Times in 31 Posts | I always sub my players when their fitness gets to below 75 or if someone is playing badly (or injured obviously). Luckily I have quite a strong in depth squad so any subs are not too much weaker than the players I take off. | | | | 07-04-08, 11:48 AM | #3 (permalink) | | Co-founder of the cult Ruism Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: Dundalk, Ireland Posts: 2,366 Thanks: 195 Thanked 309 Times in 249 Posts | usually if my players have a knock or are playing a 6 or a 5 id sub em, sometimes if im 1-0 down late on in the game i might stick on a third striker or something along those lines | Current Game SV Red Bull Salzburg Austrian Bundesliga Champions 2007/2008 Austrian Super Cup Winners 2008 Hang on I better say "Red Bull, it gives you wings" or ill be sacked | | | 07-04-08, 11:55 AM | #4 (permalink) | | What Bozza can do with an orange, I can do with a grape! Ive brought on players before to bolster a narrow lead, and theyve gone on to score, Ive brought on fresh attackers to try and snatch a draw or win and theyve made little or no impact at all. I think its only an option to use when neccesary, ie when a players fitness level drops or if you are winning and want to preserve a player for the next game. | Signature-Care of Ru Top FMF GFX Artist Current game Spain/Birmingham 08-09 | | | 07-04-08, 12:50 PM | #6 (permalink) | | Decent Youngster Join Date: Jul 2006 Posts: 30 Thanks: 3 Thanked 4 Times in 4 Posts | I use them like real life. If someone has taken a knock or fitness is down I remove them in a straight swap but if I have a narrow 1 goal lead going in to the last 5-10 mins I take off an attacking player for a defender and close out the game, works most of the time too. | | | | 07-04-08, 02:45 PM | #7 (permalink) | | Backup To The First Team Join Date: Mar 2008 Posts: 132 Thanks: 18 Thanked 24 Times in 24 Posts | the main reason for a substitution (besides injury) is when a players condition gets below 70.except for when he gets a hit and his condition drops but without a green cross.in most of these cases i let him play. also when i'm losing by 1 goals i put a 3rd ST about after the 80th minute.of course when a player has a bad game (5 or 6(when others have a 7) ) he gets subed out. | Toumba...Don't you just love it?
