Are the heights of the players correct?Are they the official ones?
'Cause I noticed the heights of two players (Messi 1.69m and Makelele 1.74m) and they made me wonder (especially the second). |

the databases are accurate, heights are correct for all players (except the regen ones, those are random players with random stats and abbilities)

Yes, I've seen him play.I didn't comment on his skill.I know he's an brilliant defensive midfielder.
What I say is that ,because I've seen him play and as you said, he's pretty short and (in my opinion) definitely not 1.74m high. |

Messi has always been small, when he was younger he was diagnosed with a complaint that kind of stunted his growth. He was told he would never make it as a pro footballer because of his physique...we can only hope his doctor was given the sack!!!! |

Yes I've heard of that.And that's why I thought he couldn't be as tall as 1.69m.But I was wrong... Rooney 1.77m and Makelele 1.74m?Yesterday when I saw them next to each other Rooney seemed at least 10cm taller than Makelele.  I really need to get my eyes checked  |

tallest is Nicola Zigic from Valencia, 2,08 metres, also an excellent striker. Very hard t o get though.
edit: I just checked and there are 3 less known guys 1,55 m tall :)
