I think agents should play a part, like if a certain player has an akwaard agent then wages demands would be hard, and also as bowser said, agents could be involved in bungs and dodgy deals. But as its all frowned upon in real life i doubt this would be there.

I would like to be able to put music onto the game and set it to play when your team scores, or a specific player.

• An important match win bonus, just to make them more inspired to win.
• More control on ticket prices, season ticket offers etc.
• New shirts etc. (you can choose a new sponsor and shirt design)
• Player pictures (wearing shirt and tie, so if transfered not still wearing old team shirt.)
• Trophy Cabinet
• Actual stadium surrounding pitch? (if at all possible)
• Regens being siblings or children of legends or existing players.
• Managers getting fined for player tapping.
• Sentimental Retirement (If a premiership player considering retirement, then will go to a favoured club in lower leagues to continue carrer.)
• Attitude affecting performance. (some players play better when mad etc.)

Will have more ideas soon let me know what you think atm. :)

Danny that is a fine performence. The only problem is that, changing sponsers is not a managers choice and having a stadium around the field will cause lag on in the game unless it is just still figures. Then they should have a way of showing how full the stadium is

I was also thinking of coaching courses that you can take up in the break to get your rep up and move to higher stuff.

Then to tie in to that other clubs offer jobs to you.

You mean like start as youth coach for " club, then through the years the board ask you to manage first team? because you can manage your youth and reserve team atm.

You can manage your youyh team but what the guys are saying is that you only manage them and move your way up to the first team.

the kit design is nothing to do with the manager, its to do with the kit manufactors e.g nike, adidas etc...

tbh a lot of these ideas are good, but really have nothing to do with the manager, would u rather be able to do chairman stuff and limit some of the things a manager could do? or would you rather have more manager stuff and less chairman stuff. I know what i would choose

i'd really like to get in the role of ast manager, youth manager, reserve squad manager, scout, etc (but that would make it Football Professions wont it?) and maybe commentary /w voice to make it more realistic but that would be hard. and also when asked by the media, was the penalty a bad decision? heck, i dont know, it's 2d, i advise that in penalty incidents, the view incident button shows a 3d mode while in-match we use 2d mode

and yeah, more or less more interaction /w the board, real people(fans), more options for answering the media (e.g when asked about next match i wanted to say i expect a loss, i think we'll draw or maybe we'll win but there are no options for those) and shutting the media up and more realistic media

example: i have a shortlist, the media says (lets say my name is name),"name is chasing some other guy's name." (the player is some other guy's name) And they ask."is there any truth to this rumour?" i either say a yes or a no, 1 week/fortnight/month/year later they ask me a similar question about the same player but with different structure of sentences, i get sick of the media asking me about angulo, omar andrade, etc for 1 year asking about interest in each person on an average of 5 times, although i said NO or YES, they keep bugging me as if i answered it privately. why does that happen? i get very tired of that

Apparently there is not going to be a FM2009 and just FM Live instead but i really hope there is a FM 2009. If there is a FM2009 it would be good if you could scout junior teams and sign players with alot of potential.

you MUST be able to CTRL+CLICK in the arrange friendly screen to select more then one date at the time and then press confirm when done. As it is in FM2008 it take AGES do one at the time.

Would love that, but instead of U15's and U13's, why not have a league with major city junior teams which are feeder clubs to the teams near them, eg. Sheffield Boys could be feeder club to Sheffield FC, Hallam FC, Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United. With a new "junior partnership" clause which means that the parent clubs can sign a player at any time on a youth contract, but also a first option clause so you fight for the signiture of the player. It will never be put in the game but good idea.

When you win a trophy it cuts to the 2d pitch and you see the trophy being presented then the players celebrating (doing lap of honour etc). On a network game the people you are playing can be forced to watch it so their noses get rubbed in it . At the moment all you get is a comment from the board and the fans !
