I am playing as Aldershot and have been trying to get a Parent club and every time the board come back with something like "We agree in principle but couldnt find a suitable club to be linked with" I have tried restarting and waitin till half way thru season and askin again. I have also tried with other lower league teams.
I have the 8.02 patch and had same prob b4 updating
Any Ideas

most teams only pick a parent club that is quite local to you, so if there are no big teams anywhere near your club then you wont get one im afraid :|

ok fair 1 but how local aldershot is only 20 or so miles from London and there is loads of big teams from there

It all depends if big clubs are looking, and if they are, they might not want a club from the league your in.
If you get promoted, you will find it a lot easier to get parent clubs.
Also, there has been no other reported problems re: parent/feeder clubs in the 8.02 patch
