We've all been there at some stage of any competition...Your team is the underdog, and you're playing against league leaders or teams with twice the ability of yours. How do you cause an upset? Can you pick out one player in the team talk who might do the unthinkable and bury a hattrick against the leagues most watertight defence? Is there a way of inspiring a GK into producing the best performance of his life?

One final thought....How exactly does the manager mindgames commentary work? Does it work? Can you psyche out Wenger or Ferguson into having a nervous breakdown and therefore wreak havoc in their team?

well i was 3-0 down against R.madrid at half time, i ignored my players at half time, bought on a different ST said that he could make the difference and i ended up pulling back and getting a point 3-3 at home

(i was Mallorca btw)

i tend to find the good luck if your playing away and you can win this if at home before game works well and if there losing the you can get a result or i expect a win combos work really well.

if your up against a strong team, try telling them the pressure is off. I did that against Villreal and we beat them 3-0 with ten men!!

But getting a PR from them before the game is becoming harder to do. I even told some players I was thinking of resting them and they just said , why?

I sold them after that!!!

when a player has a PR and doesnt feel confident about the game ahead, i drop them, whoever they are!!
but as goes team talks, if i am playing a rival team at home or away i go for "for the fans", if it is someone i feel we should beat i go for "i expect a win"....

To be honest guys, im terrible at times with my team talks but i dont usualy do what most of you have said, i tried and i just beat Portsmouth 3-2 in League cup QTR final, from 2-0 down

I am Doncaster Rovers, first time iv managed to get them promoted, per wierchrch and rapnik are great buys to make money off aswel

It should be good if his motivating is 20, if it isn't working then switch back to doing your own team talks.
