Right click the Football Manager 2008 icon on your desktop and select properties.
From the top menu select Shortcut and copy and paste 'C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\fm.exe" -small_screen -windowed' in the target box.
When you haven't installed FM2008 to the default directory, please change "C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\" to where you installed FM2008.

Hi Spanish, I always select window mode from within FM2007 graphics preferences. I just check windowed and when I apply the settings the game automatically switches from full screen to window mode. rodster that means that u have ya monitor at the res needed in order for fm to be window mode and what the line spanish has said to put it allows other people who either dont like their pc being at that res or their pc doesnt support let them have it in windowed mode |

My screen resolution is set to 1266 x 1024 and 32 bit.
When I untick the full screen box I get an error saying " changing the screen settings failed make sure your system supports this "

yeah mate..follow the instructions I gave in the first post. That will help PC's/laptops that cant's be set on windowed play :D |
