If you have problems installing FM08
Create another profile on your PC/Laptop and give it Admin privileges then install FM08 on the new account and go back to your normal profile and play FM08 :o)

i added a kit pack, but i can see the templates in the background, is there a way to fix this?? thanks in advance |

in all national comps none of the quallified teams actually take part!! ive got teams like andorra and san marino involved in the euro champs!! any ideas? |

open the following file:
programmfiles\si\fm08\data\db\800\inc
and delete all files.

it comes up when u start a new game and u add a manager. Its in one of the steps in the wizard! |

Hello all,
You all keeping well I hope....
Just a slight problem that is bugging the buggerry out of me! Anyone else having trouble running the editor at all?
Seems to be missing a .dll file that is the first thing installed (meaning..to me anyway...that it must be there!). Now, I've re-installed as it says to do but never seems to make any difference!
Just wondering if anyone had overcome this and if so please share the love as I could really dow ith the use of the editor...

I had the same problem i think, it kept telling me that file msvcp71.dll was missing.
Not sure if it's the same file missing for you but if it is this is what i did,
the same file was in my windows system32 folder so i copied the file and pasted it into the FM folder that contains the data editor exe file.
Seems to work okay for me now.

my keeper keeps coming up fro corners etc. in the middle of the game with no change in tactics by me
suddenly, he has an attacking mentality and high creativity, as well as attack near or far post for corners and mark tall player in defending them
at the start of the game the instructions are default for all the set pieces and mentality is full defensive and tehre is no creativity, only think more than rarely (or the left-most thing) is passing which is mixed
any help on this bug? is much appreciated
