Spurs 5th, usual suspects top 4, Liverpool scrape 4th but win champions league....Arsenal fall apart and still get 3rd, Chelsea take title back from Utd with a season of tired looking 1-0 wins. Or it might just go to Newcastle. That said...Villa may come good....and Everton and Man City can be a match for anyone....and West Ham are due a good season.... United will take the title again (as much as I hate to say it). I think Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool will take 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Ramos will be able to make something of Spurs this season. For that reason I can't pick between them and Everton for 5th place. Whoever doesn't get 5th, they will get 6th! I wouldn't be surprised if Villa will be there or there abouts as well. Not sure on Portsmouth or Newcastle. They could be awesome this season coming or not. As for relegations, I hate to say it but I reckon all three that came up will go back down. Shame really as I quite like Hull City. | | | | 03-07-08, 09:44 PM | #9 (permalink) | | FMF's Toon Army Spiderman and member of the Writers Crew Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: wiltshire Posts: 2,394 Thanks: 304 Thanked 620 Times in 592 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | I think it will be a season of change but Im going for arsenal. dont know why, just a feeling in my bladder! | Signature-Care of Ru Top FMF GFX Artist Current game Tottenham Hotspur 2007- Follow it here! | | | 03-07-08, 09:47 PM | #10 (permalink) | | What Fed can do with a grape, I can't do with a beach ball! I'm not sure on Arsenal to be honest. I reckon they'll do better this season. Once again easily finishing in the top 3. They may even push Chelsea for 2nd but I still don't think their team will play consistant. More than likely, they'll hit the same part of the season and start to struggle again. You wait until 2009/10. That's when you'll see the TRUE Arsenal if they manage to keep all their stars and maybe bring in a few extra signings. | | | | 04-07-08, 02:33 AM | #11 (permalink) | | Scout For FMF's DB Update Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Mississauga, near Toronto Posts: 2,025 Thanks: 341 Thanked 296 Times in 246 Posts Nominated 8 Times in 2 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | i wish i am right that we will win the title but i think we will win one of the cups and/or champions league but will only get to 2nd or 3rd in the premiership hopefully i will be wrong in what i just said and my vote (look up...way up) will be right and sorry for contradicting myself and confusing a lot of people, including myself | Thanks to Spanish for the userbars :) If you would like me to make you a sig, click on mine! | | | 04-07-08, 06:49 PM | #12 (permalink) | | Used In Squad Rotation Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Caerphilly Posts: 384 Thanks: 77 Thanked 72 Times in 66 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | Well I normally support Chelsea but like Harty got feeling Arsenal are going to win woulden't put money on it though.. as for Spurs I reckon they'll finish either 4th or 5th be great to see them break into the top 4 :D | | | | 05-07-08, 12:07 AM | #13 (permalink) | | Indispensable To FMF Join Date: Nov 2007 Location: Basingstoke Posts: 1,004 Thanks: 96 Thanked 175 Times in 167 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | who ever voted for newcastle with me.. they deserve a high 5 :) i HOPE newcastle would win it.. if they dont haha.. then i think arsenal will, they have a young talented squad and they get better and better + i love the way arsenal play. i hope chelsea dont win it i hope they somehow go into administration ;) | | | | 05-07-08, 11:07 AM | #14 (permalink) | | Banned Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Knaresborough Posts: 500 Thanks: 945 Thanked 356 Times in 281 Posts Nominated 11 Times in 3 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 1 | I hate the way Chelsea play, its much like Germany, grinding out results by being strong, but not actually playing well. | | | | | 05-07-08, 02:42 PM | #15 (permalink) | | Indispensable To FMF Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: Evesham,England Posts: 1,333 Thanks: 433 Thanked 224 Times in 203 Posts Nominated 2 Times in 2 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | right ill start with the team i support ASTON VILLA i think we can get 5th this season if we spend big, i would love to see us break into the top 4, as for the team who going to win the premiership i believe it will be LIVERPOOLS year if torres starts well and bangs in the goals like last season, also if they nab gareth barry of us then you know. Also keep an eye out for Tottenham Hotspur me dad supports them, and they could well be a top 4 club next season, but you cannot write of Man Utd and Chelsea, Arsenal need to spend more money, while Everton look like a decent side, i think WBA will stay up, hull and stoke will need to spend to sty up otherwise it bye bye to them, this is how i think the table will finish, if teams spend big, also if MANCHESTER CITY get Ronaldihnio to partner Jo then there b higher then Villa etc. 1st Liverpool 2nd Manchester United 3rd Chelsea 4th Tottenham 5th Aston Villa 6th Arsenal 7th Everton 8th Manchester City 9th Newcastle 10th Portsmouth 11th West Ham 12th Bolton 13th Blackburn 14th Fulham 15th Sunderland 16th West Brom 17th Wigan 18th Stoke 19th Middlesbrough 20th Hull City | | | | 05-07-08, 02:49 PM | #16 (permalink) | | Banned Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Knaresborough Posts: 500 Thanks: 945 Thanked 356 Times in 281 Posts Nominated 11 Times in 3 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 1 | Cannot write of Man U and Chelsea, the two favourites each year? LMFAO! And Wigan will do better, and as for Hull theyre not going down!!!! Somehow cant see any of that happening Adam, if it does, I will probably choke | | | | | 05-07-08, 04:48 PM | #17 (permalink) | | I'm The FMF Accountant - How Can I Help You? Although I hate to say it, it would probably be United or Chelsea. Thing is though, Chelsea has a new manager so it'll be interesting to see what will happen. I think United will win but the Ronaldo business should be sort out asap. Everton, Man City and Portsmouth will be fighting for the Euro Spots. Portsmouth are looking strong at the moment and so are Everton, providing they have the money. With Mark Hughes coming in, the lack of discipline City have been missing will be revived instantly and I think City will succeed with him. I dont think Villa will finish as high, without Barry, I dont think they will do as well. I expect Spurs to do better then last season, but as for Toons...well they had good and bad times but I dont think they might be able to finish in top 10. Same goes for West Ham. Blackburn may struggle but we'll have to see first. How will they cope with a new manager? Sunderland will do better, maybe even push for mid table. Bolton and Fulham wont be as lucky as last season. Wigan will do much better. However saying all these things...why not just take a look at my predictions? 3 point for a right and 0 points for a no then shall we? 1st Manchester United 2nd Liverpool 3rd Chelsea 4th Arsenal 5th Manchester City 6th Everton 7th Portsmouth 8th Aston Villa 9th Blackburn 10th Spurs 11th West ham 12th Newcastle 13th Sunderland 14th Boro 15th Wigan 16th WBA 17th Bolton 18th Fulham 19th Stoke 20th Hull City I expect it to be much tighter, with the teams chasing euro to be much closer to top 4.
