If you think of Carrick, Lampard, Cole, Ferdinand, Defoe - so many players that West Ham developed and watched leave - do you think Mark Noble will still be at Upton Park at the end of the season? |

I think he's a great prospect, but I would give him a couple more seasons before he's snapped up by a bigger club. |

I think they'd be happy for a similar position tbh, they've got a new boss and they wanna build on last year. However, I feel that with the players they're bringing in, if they can get them to perform consistently they could well finish in the top 6 or 7.

I hate the whole Stewart Downing overratedness too. Over Crouch scored 11 goals from 31 appearances, and in 17 league appearances he scored 5. Fantastic striking record there i must say  If Darren Bent could be given a chance at a decent club, theres no doubt he would be a key striker for England, because we dont have a fit striker who can score goals. |

Yeah they will be stronger next season definatly. But we do always say that. And even if they do improve, they wont climb 6 or something places in one season. Would love to see the RS out the top 4 though so if it means Tottenham finishing 4th so be it :) |

They could easily climb 6 or more places.
The year Santini left 13 games in and Jol took over they finished 9th and were fighting for Europe last day of the season.
The year Jol left and Ramos took over they finished 11th, won the Carling Cup, and had nothing to play for for 3 months.
The next season under Jol they came 5th, and they repeated that the second season.

Everton, Tottenham and Aston Villa if they make soem damb signings lol will fight it out for 5th imo, outside chance perhaps portsmouth if they can hold onto their players and improve further. |

West ham need Scott Parker fit, he is much better then anyother midfielder they have by a mile. |

Their chairman is a nob and will probably sack Hughes if they finish outta th top 8.
I feel Hughes was a nob to join Man city but thats my opinion. |
