May I take a moment of your peace to remember the tragedy that was to happen on this day 19 years ago at Hillsborough.

A total of 94 people died on the day, with 766 other fans being injured and around 300 being taken to hospital. Four days later, the death toll reached 95 when 14-year-old Lee Nicol died in hospital from his injuries. The final death toll became 96 in March 1993, when Tony Bland died after remaining in a coma for nearly four years.

As it was being watch on live television broadcasted by the BBC, an event happened that was to change the game for good. As it effected not only Liverpool fans but many fans, nationally and internationally.

May those that died RIP.

I remember watching in horror with my cousins as the tragedy unfolded live. It was awful and I'll never forget it. Even now YNWA is the one and only anthem I'll boost the sound up to max on the tv when liverpool play, listening to the kop belt it out s awesome and it still makes me shiver and brings a tear to my eye.

RIP to the fans who lost their lives and condolances to the families that will miss them forever. Never forgotten, and You'll Never Walk Alone.
