Oh my God! As most of you know, I'm a Hull City fan, and I cant belive it. When I started going to watch them, we were bottom of the 3rd division, and we used to be happy if we got over 1000 in the crowd, now we are getting 22000 plus and on the verge of promotion to the Premier League! What's your team been doing? On the whole we are glad that we got Kevin Keegan back as manager, the last couple of managers have never really set the team alight. Still, 3 wins on the trot have propelled us to near saftey, and with the side starting to click we may be able to push for better things next season. Theres no denying however, that we need bolstering, and KK is gonna have to spend big and extremely wisely before the start of next season. | Signature-Care of Ru Top FMF GFX Artist Current game Birmingham/Spain 2009-10 | | | 07-04-08, 04:21 PM | #4 (permalink) | | Used In Squad Rotation Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Caerphilly Posts: 284 Thanks: 58 Thanked 46 Times in 40 Posts | for valencia its been the worst season we're only in the mid-table positions not even in the EURO cup position, 10th place but won the kings cup final so just hoping for a better season next nice to see some more signings to boost the defence. Proud of the lads though and impressed with our team and signings. Lassana Diarra is a beast! | Current Game: RC Mol-Wezel Division III Nationale Afd. B Winners 2008 Division II Nationale Afd. Last season we comfortably finished in the top 4, the season before that we finished 9 pts off of the champions but this season we'll be lucky to finish 4th. We've been progresably worse every year recently. | | | | 08-04-08, 05:48 PM | #9 (permalink) | | Backup To The First Team Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Grimsby Posts: 112 Thanks: 13 Thanked 14 Times in 14 Posts | Way Beyond :), nearly at the playoffs and got to the final of the JPT, now my other team have only played 2 games this season, and have won 1 lost one so hopefully win the supporters shield again;), oh and I also support Newcastle as my third team (family thing not a glory who has 5billion teams ;)) although I do have a team I follow from every league just to make it interesting in the pools. Anyway newcastle are hardly doing great;) | | | | | 08-04-08, 07:15 PM | #10 (permalink) | | Used In Squad Rotation Join Date: Feb 2008 Posts: 333 Thanks: 26 Thanked 25 Times in 21 Posts | you are talking for real football or in the fm2008? | | | | 08-04-08, 07:18 PM | #11 (permalink) | | Used In Squad Rotation Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: Soton Posts: 346 Thanks: 37 Thanked 143 Times in 65 Posts | Blackburn...this season has been quite good IMO. Santa Cruz was a great buy, no doubt about that. I would've thought Euro place would be good for us. The FA And League Cup has been disastrous. We're currently 8th and we are 2 points from 6th place. I would very much love to have 6th place, but in reality, I dont think we will be able to get it...We'll see. | Current Game: Eastleigh, 2008/2009 2007/2008 - Eastleigh, 1st in Blue Square South 2008/2009 - Eastleigh, 1st in Blue Square Premier, Won Setanta Shield, Runners Up in FA Trophy | | | 08-04-08, 07:24 PM | #12 (permalink) | | Used In Squad Rotation Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Caerphilly Posts: 284 Thanks: 58 Thanked 46 Times in 40 Posts | we're talking real life baros ;') | | | | 08-04-08, 07:56 PM | #13 (permalink) | | Used In Squad Rotation Join Date: Feb 2008 Posts: 333 Thanks: 26 Thanked 25 Times in 21 Posts | my favourite team is dinamo bucharest.last season won the league without being any contenders for them.and this season i expected to win the league again or at least to finish in second position to qualifies to ch. league. but now is 3rd on table with only 7 weeks to go look at this legaue table: http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/4600/59397338cv2.png another expectation for this season was to reach the ch. league group stage. but played in the 3rd round with lazio roma. the score was: lazio-dinamo buc. 1-1 (dinamo scored first) dinamo buc.-lazio 1-3 (dinamo scored first) after those 2 matches it begans the poor form of the team:(( Last edited by barosanu; 08-04-08 at 08:04 PM. | | | | 09-04-08, 02:53 AM | #14 (permalink) | | Backup To The First Team Join Date: Mar 2008 Posts: 132 Thanks: 18 Thanked 24 Times in 24 Posts | my favorite team is PAOK from Thessaloniki,Greece.well, the last years we were going well qualifying for euro cup and only last year missing the euro place in the last game .the bad thing is that over the last 10 years we have financial problems and they're getting bigger and bigger.so,in the summer our captain Zagorakis (you may know him.he was the captain of the Greek National Team, which won the Euro 2004) became chairman.everyone hoped we can qualify for the playoffs (till 5th place) now that the team had a good and steady leadership.well,we now find ourselves in 9th place, playing something that only looks like football and the season is practically over for us. at least we didn't have any relegation problems. and if that's not enough,my 2nd favorite team Celtic is looking like losing the champ .oh,and not to forget my 3rd favorite team,Aston Villa,it's bye bye Europe an awful season overall | Toumba...Don't you just love it? Next year we will be bigger and stronger, more capable of making a propper title challenge. | | | | 09-04-08, 11:12 AM | #18 (permalink) | | FMF Writer/FMF Mod lollol:P Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: Dundalk, Ireland Posts: 2,436 Thanks: 197 Thanked 332 Times in 269 Posts | so far United are around were id have expected them to be. For a club with our history and current squad, we should be right up there this season. Fingers crossed eh? Haha. And West Brom have done a lot better this season then I expected! I flew over a couple of weeks ago with tickets for Wembley! Lovely stadium, shame about the result. Best of luck to both Porthmouth and Cardiff.
