We all see them, in papers around the world. Stupid football rumours that wud never happen Here are some I remeber "Middlesborough chase Ronaldhino" Boro have put in a 10mill bid for Ronaldhino "City try last gasp attempt at Torres" Man city are looking to hijack Liverpool's bid for Fernando Torres Oh and the most ridiculous... "Dream team star set for Anfield" Yes that is right, an actor who was in TV Drama Dream Team was apparantly going to sign for Liverpool  How ridiculous!:D |

The Torres one is true, Sven admitted it.
We matched Liverpool's bid for Torres and he chose to go to Liverpool rather than City which most people would lol. |

The stupidest one I have heard recently was last august, it circulated briefly that Spurs were looking to sign Carlos Puyol from Barcelona, then follow that up by re-capturing freddy kanoute. Start of the Season Sunderland were getting Forlan Scholes and Giggs. And it looks like Forlan might be back on the cards with him stating he wants to come back to England a few weeks ago :P |

yea i remember the ronaldinhio one lol what about David Beckham was going on loan to QPR lol this yr or newcastle but they may happen, also Nani who utd just brought was going to Newcastle |

I remember a few years back, the whole Spurs "We nearly signed Ronaldinho" thing.
And it went on, and the same happened with other top players, such as Figo, Ronaldo and Zidane I think |

Yeah but the difference is liverpool are better than sunderland =p Plus it wasnt almost, we (by we I mean our stupid manager, who was great >_>) said he wouldnt be good enough |

I remember reading that Houllier rejected the chance to sign Rivaldo just before he signed for Milan, because he didn't want a big name player upsetting the balance of the team.  |
