I'm a neutral and couldnt really care if Liverpool win anything or not. But I am a football fan, and am very intrested in the situation at Liverpool.
The FA cup for example, surely that was a realistic an for them, and yet look at the Havant game. Then they go out against Barnsley. And then somehow they beat a very solid Inter team.
So, is it just about the players Benitez brings in? Are his backup players just not good enough? Remember the team against Barnsley had 10 international players in it.
Is it Benitez himself? Deos he not care about anything except Europe?
Im sure there are many possible reasons for this bizarre form, but I want to know your opinions. |

Benitez is a fairly good manager, but his choice of signings are very odd sometimes. Add this to his dubious squad rotataion system and its no wonder they are struggling to reach their potential. i agree with veg
if we continued liek we started theres no doubt we will be 1st now, and still in at least 1 cup competition
but the owners have shut up, and after the sunderland and chelsea games we wouldve expected to win against barnsley, but if it wasnt for luke steele we would have, and atleast 3-0
look in liverpools recent results, whenever they have a bad game, the next game they automatically play 5x better
its good, i just hope we played 5x better every game :) |

Bah i blame rafas rotation policy lol. Theres rotatign your squad to keep guys from getting tired and from increasign the chance of nigglign injuries becoem worse, but rafa just goes over board. That doesn't matter though cause your crappers anyway  |

Not enough poll options hic  Although imo board distractions is no excuse, 80 grand a week and you cannot concentrate on your job? Absolute b********! Supporters are paying through the nose to come and support their beloved team and players cannot give 100%? rafas thought he brought the players that arent perfoming he spent the millions and moans that hes not getting more and he the one that said the premiership was there target this year well he missed that one by so much hes in danger of missing europe.

Strange how last year we managed to get a champions league run together, and a premiership 3rd spot.
ye sthis year, we are 5 points behind with a game in hand Hicks suddenly comes public with some ridiculous comments about Klinsman, Taking money from LFc to put in Texas rangers, and benitez having enough money, and we go a month without getting very many points.

i think its the owners fault
but i do think liverpool should stick to a team or something like that instead of rotating all the time |

You cannot blame it on the owners because you've had problems for a while now!
For a team who are so called title contenders each year and one of the best in the world, you dont have enough world class or quality players to compete for the Premier League title, and as for doing well in Europe, it is because it is so different to the English game and therefore different tactics are required and Liverpool do well. However, no Premier League title ever and yer you have won 5 European Titles, but who cares, coz most of them happened before any of you were born, and you all need to be less arrogant and stop living off your history, coz people only care about now!!!!!1 |

The players clearly aren't good enough, they rely on Gerrard and Torres. Without them they would be nothing, maybe a top 10 side at best. |

A spine of Reina, Carragher, Agger, Mascherano, Gerrard, Torres is good enough to challenge.
Once we get some fullbacks and wingers. Then we will see what happens |

he has potential but he is not good enough now
babel has taken his chance, he is good on either flank tho he an only cross with is right foot, he will make a good striker as well |

Get rid of Hyppia, Aurelio, Finnan, Veronin(he works mega hard and does everything he can but he aint good enough in scoring) and Itandje, why didnt rafa get carson to stay, im sure he would of if he genuinley said u can geta spot if u play well and actualluy give him a chance |
