Explain your reasons for supporting your loyal team here! I'm a supporter of United, even though my dad is a Spurs fan and I am from Stevenage, and no I am not a glory supporter, coz I have a reason for supporting United! I moved from Stevenage to Scotton when I was just 18 months, and so had no clue what football was. When I was about 3 or 4, I had a mate who was 8 called Richard Dobson. Most kids learn about footy from their dads, or maybe their grandads, but I used to sit in his bedroom for hours on end, whilst he taught me everything about footy with those Pro Stars Big Heads! He became my idol because I spent every minute with him, and basically thought he was really cool, so obviously I wanted to be just like him, and therefore I chose to support Man Utd. I have pictures of me and him as young boys kitted out in blue Man U shirts from when we were sponsored by Sharp! He was going through all the Man Utd Big Heads and the first one he showed me was Ryan Giggs, and so he has been my favourite player ever since, which is lucky coz he's still at the club and is a total legend!!!! He inspired me to follow in his footsteps as a left winger, where I play for my local team, Knaresborough Celtic today! I sometimes wish I was a Spurs fan because of my dad, and I feel a bit cheated as a United fan coz everything comes so easily. But I will never change from my loyal team, because once you have a team you stick with it forever! I support Spurs on the side now, and am glad to see them in the Carling Cup Final, and I am looking forward to todays game with great anticipation, as my house is gonna go wild! I support Liverpool by blind luck. When I was about 7 or 8, me and me mates put all 22 Premier League teams into a hat. I managed to pull out Liverpool. Bit lucky really as it's me local team anyway and I could've ended up with Wimbledon!  Me dad didn't like it thought being a devoted Evertonian! |

One Day my boy asked to have a red football shirt for hs birthday. Being a fair man and wanting to allow him his own way in life I enquired which red shirt he wanted. 'Bristol City' he replied (I'm welling up just thinking about it). Once I recovered from the shock I made an emergency call to my Brothers. They told me to stay calm and came round to collect him. There was a little tear in my eye as they took him away. 3 hours later they brouht him back. He bounced in to the house with a beaming smile, looked at me and said. Dad I want a be a Gashead too. It's a blue and white shirt for me. My brothers drove him all the way to the ground. Pointed out where we stood. and where his Grandad stood before us. You see as I said it's tradition. Once it's in your blood however bad it gets you can't stay away.

dont forget mls and overseas supporters btw canadian teams now have a direct place in the concacaf champions league up the ap that sounds good :D |
