What more do you want? Yes Avram isn't the brilliant on the eye, but he's doing a bloody good job, and without your chairman, you'd be languishing in mid-table now, probably even lower after he came in and saved your club.

Sure we had our problems recently, but I have supported them since I was 12, and am not ever turning my back on the club I love. There were no Newcastle supporters when i was young at my school, they all supported arsenal or man utd, so I was proud to be different, and still am

first of all i support the team from my town-poli iasi.i will never forgot the first time i go to the stadium with my father.i was 7 or 8 years old and my team was playng in the 3rd division with fc brasov and won that match with 3-0.dont know what happens if my team lost that match.now poli iasi finished 11th place in the romanian first division.
my second favourite team is dinamo bucharest couse whenn i was young (8 or 9 years old) my father used to watch football matches at tv and i saw some really great matches from dinamo and trust me it was love at the first sight.i dont know why.dinamo is fighting every year for the title in romania and the passion for this team become bigger every day and also the rivalry with steaua bucharest.this year my team won the derby dinamo-steaua 2-1 and steaua lost the title in the last week becouse of that match.i cant be more happier than that.

I support Real Madrid because of Raul and for the exact same reason I support Spain. Actually my support for Spain could have something to do is when I was small (six years old) I used to have an old 2D Dos footie game, where you could choose between four teams to win the World Cup. And there used to be levels or stages, with the final stage being against Brazil. I reached the final stage on a number of occasions but never managed to beat the Brazilians as their players were always quicker. The first (I dont remember if it was the only time) I actually did win that game was with Spain. Since then I had an affection for the La Furia Roja. Stupid and Kiddish reason maybe but thats how it could have started.

I cried in 1996, age 10, when England beat Spain on penalties. 1998 I cried when Zuby scored the own goal. 2000 I cried when Raul missed the penalty and France went through. 2002 was the worst when we were robbed. 2004 was a disappointment. We blew it big time. 2006 was heartbreak again, and 2008 has wonderful. First Real defend the La Liga title in style, and then Spain do it in the Euros!! Brilliant.

I might not be from Spain and cant even speak fluent Spanish, but when it comes to football, I am as passionate as any other Spaniard.

When I was a kid (and I'm showing just how old I am now) you tended to pick one of 3 teams to support - Man Utd, Liverpool or Southampton (the nearest 'big' team to where I grew up). I chose Liverpool as they were winning the most cups (I was only 5 years old) and have been obsessed with them ever since.

Perhaps I should have chosen my local team, it would have saved a fortune on petrol.

Im a newport county fan coz my dad and grandad supported them all there lives, and so have i. Go to all the away games, but home games are harder to get to as i live in south london

it's not that i don't support my own country (indonesia) or a club from my country...

i support juventus because a silly reason: i didn't know football, and i supported what my sister supported. she loves bald guys such as zidane...

as for italy, i supports del piero (juventus legend), until now, and looks like i will support the new legend, giorgio chiellini...

now, juventus and italy is in my blood, but i still supports my country, indonesia, and a club from my country, pelita jaya (anyone know this club? guess not...:D)

when i was young, i hated watching football (thought it was boring) but loved playing games a lot (so much that when i was about 7-12, i always wake up between 5:30-7:30 just to play them) and loved playing real football even more (really playing it, i mean getting on the field, really kicking the ball). i once supported MU, forgot why. and then i played PES (a.k.a WE) and tried playing as Arsenal which had henry at the past, henry was godly and i began to like arsenal

around 1-2 years later i found out how arsenal played etc, i actually dropped Man Utd when I still hated football. I started loving it during the World Cup and more when the EPL's on. very silly reason, just because of a game, i now, with my heart fully support arsenal. With their slick passing, thierry henry, etc, i began to love arsenal and football altogether

i really really forgot why i chose Man Utd back then, maybe it was because my older brother was a Man Utd supporter (cant remember since when, i remembered it was after i became a man utd supporter, which i am not)

Well half of my family are Catholic and the other Protestant. The Catholic half support Celtic, the Potestant Rangers.

We used to get together to watch the Old Firm Derby's in my Catholic grandparent's house. And the atmosphere was really intense.

Anyway i found myself aligning with Celtic and have supported them ever sinse. Even though my 4 brothers are Rangers fans.

I support Manchester United because a) I'm from Lancashire originally, but mainly b) because they were winning when I started following football when I was 7! LOL! I had no dad to influence me so I was a glory supporter. I've supported them ever since though (16 years), so does that qualify me as a real fan?!

For me, its Middlesbrough through and through. Born in Middlesbrough General Hospital in 1986, just around the corner from Ayresome Park and grew up there (near Ayresome Park, not the hospital!) Some of my family played for Boro and all were season ticket holders, myself included. When I was a kiddy I played for the local teams and attended all sorts of trial competitions. If it wasn't for me moving to Telford I probably would have ended up playing for them in the youth system as my old coach, Mr Wilson, took me on to his team on the recommendation of his mate - dave parnaby. Oh well, still Boro through and through and used to play in teams with and against Matty Bates, Nathan Bonar, Andrew Taylor, Lee Cattermole and a few others who've been (and failed or been sold on)

Well... First to say that i'm not so big football supporter as the rest of you. The football league in my country (Bulgaria) is a joke. Bough matches, bribed referees, players who pay to get to play for the club etc. So I refused to watch this parody and gave up on football. I really don't know how i became a Man UTD fan. I'm not quite sure but i think it because of Football Manager 1999/2000 ( I don't remember how the series were called back then). I had to chose a team and i chosed Man UTD. I don't know why. Maybe because i've always liked the English football and Man UTD were one of the best (if not the best) English club around that time. Since then i've always supported Man Utd. If by supported you understand watching some of their games on TV and hoping they will win :) Only recently i've begin to be more intrested (Cause of FM 2008 ;) ) in football.

I support Liverpool, Im not a massive fan, I like pretty much every team, mainly I just love the game, but I still try to watch every Liverpool game. I go for them casue I love there players and its a team with great history, its a team for the fans
