I support Bristol City... My dad was in the RAF when I was born and we spent the first 10 years of my life moving around. It was a dangerous job, he was a bomb disposal expert!
anyway, my dad's Bristolian, so when he left the RAF after 23 years, we moved to Bristol. I lived there from when I was 10, til I was 23. I never plumped for city or rovers because I felt that cos I wasnt a true Bristolian, I didnt have the right to choose... One day 5 years ago my mate Damo asked if I fancied going to watch the city cos he'd never been before, so we went and were instantly hooked...Even tho I no longer live in Bristol, I still make the trek back to catch as many home games as I can and am often found shouting my face off at the ref or the players down at Ashton Gate..

I support Hearts, for the reason I believe everyone should support their chosen team, they are my local club. My first house was a only a street away from the ground. You should be proudf of your roots and support your local team IMO because the smaller clubs would just disappear if this wasn't the case. I was fortunate my local club have a proud tradition and have been fairly successful over the years. I have the up most respect for anyone who supports lower division clubs though, the football leagues couldn't survive without people like you. Fans who just pin their colours to the masts of the big teams will never know the true passion and euphoria that coincide with your home team club lifting a cup or getting a win over your rivals. I support Chelsea because... I don't know. I just love them. I love the lads and I used to love the manager. Now I still love the club and lads but I hate the manager and Roman. Because of them my Jose left Chelsea. |
