That was my reasoning behind Wales..but I may be wrong | | | | 19-04-08, 01:51 AM | #24 (permalink) | | Important First Team Player Join Date: Nov 2007 Location: Banda Aceh,Republik Indonesia Posts: 976 Thanks: 20 Thanked 50 Times in 44 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | stop thinking about manuel almunia......he is good, but he is spanish(where is england pride? ).......... England still have Ben Foster,Scott Carson,David James.Robert Green(he has bad composure lol),Paul Robinson,Kirkland and Joe Hart.............i think they are good enough to challenging 3 goalkeepers place in World Cup 2010............. However, I don't think he should be Man Utd first choice atm, he wouldn't cope with the likes of Kaka and Messi in the Champions League. | R.I.P Tommy Burns - You'll Never Walk Alone | | | 20-04-08, 09:12 AM | #26 (permalink) | | Important First Team Player Join Date: Nov 2007 Location: Banda Aceh,Republik Indonesia Posts: 976 Thanks: 20 Thanked 50 Times in 44 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | but.........ben foster showing his pontential.........he has great future.....should be no doubt about his ability in important matches.......he only need a chance....give him a chance......same like Carson,i want liverpool sell Pepe Reina | | | | 20-04-08, 05:23 PM | #27 (permalink) | | Important First Team Player Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Sheffield Posts: 807 Thanks: 190 Thanked 174 Times in 168 Posts Nominated 1 Time in 1 Post TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | Whats everyones problem... Ben Foster, Robert Green, There not good enough. David James is first til he retires, he is the best we have. Paul Robinson is 2nd and will replace James if he is injured. Joe Hart with no hesitation is the next England NO 1 when James Retires. At the Mo he is too inexperienced but in a few years he will be world class. Man C have money and the first thing Sven did was bring two youth keepers through. Schmeichel and Hart, Hart beat off a great keeper to become Svens first choise and he deserves it. I've seen Schmeichel play against my beloved Wednesday and he is a Premiership Keeper but Hart is better. Pecking order for England should be NOW: 1. David James 2. Paul Robinson 3. Joe Hart Pecking order for England when James Retires: 1. Joe Hart 2. Paul Robinson 3. Close third and maybe 2nd if he is better... Scott Carson. He played For Wednesday few years back and pretty much kept us up. | | | | | 21-04-08, 05:20 AM | #28 (permalink) | | Important First Team Player Join Date: Nov 2007 Location: Banda Aceh,Republik Indonesia Posts: 976 Thanks: 20 Thanked 50 Times in 44 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | no no no..............Ben Foster better than Joe Hart.................in composure, handling, communication, etc.Joe Hart only "made in overrated",i can believe england future if joe hart as gk | | | | 21-04-08, 11:52 AM | #29 (permalink) | | Used In Squad Rotation Join Date: Aug 2007 Location: Sunderland Posts: 484 Thanks: 6 Thanked 24 Times in 15 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | I think James, green and kirkland should be our 3. Hart is avergae atm and foster doesnt play, he should leave utd if he wants to be an england player (he wont be picked when VDS retires either, as hes 3rd choice) | | | | 21-04-08, 12:15 PM | #30 (permalink) | | Banned Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Knaresborough Posts: 500 Thanks: 945 Thanked 356 Times in 281 Posts Nominated 11 Times in 3 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | Robinson is a fantastic keeper, the media just destroyed him after making one mistake, which wasnt even his fault. Then as soon as he returned to the Spurs lineup they were praising him again! James is in fantastic form atm so he should probably be number 1, with Robinson not far behind and Green as #3. Foster and Hart are both up and coming keepers who will be future England Number 1s, but theres no way VDS is going to retire in the next year or two James. Most keepers go to 40 or beyond, and VDS is 37 atm, still captain of Holland and going strong for us, he has been brilliant this season, and has saved us at some very vital times. | | | | | 21-04-08, 12:28 PM | #31 (permalink) | | Important First Team Player Join Date: Nov 2007 Location: Banda Aceh,Republik Indonesia Posts: 976 Thanks: 20 Thanked 50 Times in 44 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | hmmm robinson,i like him..........most important, england goalkeepers must be play in big club or 1st team, see Paul(tottenham),James(p'mouth),green(WHU),Carson(l iverpool,on loan at aston villa),Hart(MC),Ben Foster(3rd choice in MU(wtf?)),Kirkland(wigan),ashdown(2nd p'mouth).............they all play for mid or low table n only 2nd choice PS: ashdown,i put him bcoz i think he is good | | | | 21-04-08, 12:34 PM | #32 (permalink) | | Banned Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Knaresborough Posts: 500 Thanks: 945 Thanked 356 Times in 281 Posts Nominated 11 Times in 3 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | Ashdown sucks.
