i have heard a lot about womens football, and have done my best to watch it, but i have been very dissapointed. The overall standard is shocking. What are your thoughts? It's supposed to be techniqially better, but i have not seen anything to say it is. |

well this depends a lot on what league or what games you have been watching.. i agree that the overall level around the world is disappointing, but the best countries are very good. the best women's league is the swedish league, and i doubt any of you have watched any of those games.. the german league is also a very good league, and the worlds best female players play here.. the english league is not a very good league imo, there's only two or three good teams and the rest are very disappointing.. brazil, germany, usa, norway are the best national teams (as they also showed in the wc) closely followed by england and china..

you could say the same about mens football, the standard of teams in top countries(e.g.brazil) is a lot of better than those in lower ranked countries. (e.g samoa) |

have to dissagree with u saying the swedish womens league is the best i reckon its the american league as they have been a pro womens league longer than any other.

they keepers in the WC were very very poor, made robbo look decent. this spoilt the gameplay for me. yay breasts |

Women's football is far more entertaining than men's. They attack, they have flair, they pass the ball around well. Some great goals in the world cup, look at Marta's goal where she did a Bergkamp-esque turn. |
