What's you opinion on video refs?

I think they should be used at every game possible. some deciosions cost leagues and cups and its about damn time they did something about it. The technology is here to do it fast, and it wont take up a massive part of the game, after all, the time the players use complaining to the ref/linesman takes ages sometimes and no=one mmoans about that, so why not do it?

i think we shjould use it in the same manner as rugby, e.g offsides, show a video of the play to PROVE it is offside or not, and also goals(over the line or not) for example. but i think that FK's penalties etc. should be left to the referee to decide

I think offsides would be hard, but maybe they could have gps in the players boots to see who is further forward?

GPS is only accurate up to within 20 meters now adays, and watch a tennis match, Hawkeye has revolutionized the game you set up the cameras all over the pitch if the player apealls it pops upon the Jumbotron and boom question answered takes 10 seconds in tennis. They limit the number of challenges to 3 a set to limit shannigans.

a FK from the Circle in front of the box sounds good, a spot kick or you could do the old NASL penalty shot (starts from 30 yrds out takes it in has 10 seconds to shoot.)

another silly idea imo, even though there is some strange decisions these days, we shouldnt let technology ruin the beautiful game.

Cant agree with the "technology will ruin the beautiful game" thing. Boots, kits, pitches an the balls have changed so much, so how a 10 second video decision will ruin the game i dont know.
