They get another for the center of midfield after beating Milan and Fiorentina. He plays as a defensive midfielder but can also play as an MC/AMC. Not a typical holding midfielder.
Let me get to the point:
- Liverpool already have Alonso, Mascherano, Gerrard (RM also) and Sissoko for the center, so I just dont see a point.
-Does this mean someone is leaving Anfield?

They have a FM wonderkid hear. But they don't need another man. Gerrard, Alonso, Mascherano and also Sissoko in the centre why another guy? Good signing in the end. |

He is a good player, but i really don't see him getting much football ;)
If that is the case, then i expect one of the CM to leave, if not two of them... |

Everyone who is commenting on the amount of CMs we have are all wrong. Haven't you all coped on after three years. Rafa likes to rotate and the current LFC team is being built around or spine. We have a great goalie and back-up goalie. Great centre backs. Great centre mids. Now all we need is to have Kuyt and Torres show us what they can do. Our team is being built around that. Rafa will buy as much players as he wants in those positions because he wants to rest the key area of the team, CM. That's what Rafa is doing and that is probably why he bought Babel too. |

I want Rafa to sell Sissoko. I don't like him much actually. His passing is lousy and he is a DM yet he keeps attack! Leaving Xabi alonso to defend. Which is totally stupid. Given time, lucas can be as good or even better than Gilberto Silva.
