I think that Barca will attack heavily tonight + Eto o and Messi back. So its gonna be an exciting match. We could see a quality game tonight, but it depends on LPool and how theyre gonna play. Problaby Ultra-Defensive as 2005 against Juventus. In my opinion Barca will win, but will it be enough? | | | | | 06-03-07, 04:33 PM | #2 (permalink) | | Decent Youngster Join Date: Dec 2006 Posts: 35 Thanks: 1 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts | Cant see Barca advancing. It all depends on how their attackers fair against the liverpool defence. Also depends on the other way round with Liverpools attackers and Barcas defence is they're going to want to build a lead in case of conceding 2+ goals and crashing to defeat. Will deffinantly be an interesting game though | | | | | 06-03-07, 05:40 PM | #3 (permalink) | | Used In Squad Rotation Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Galway, Ireland. As a Liverpool fan I can see it as an even game but if I put myself in a neutral position I cannot see Barca proggresing. They are a poor team at times and espeicially away. They are seen as giants but imo they are only giants of the La Liga. Ok they won the ECC last season, but Arsenal deserved it. Liverpool should win at Anfield tonight, probably over aggragate. | | | | 06-03-07, 06:10 PM | #4 (permalink) | | Used In Squad Rotation Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Galway, Ireland. Maybe if they get an early goal, dont concede and try to get another one for a 2-0 victory. Stupid Valdes making all those mistakes in the 1st leg. Cant wait till USTARI comes next season, then he ll just be sitting at the bench. We ll see what happens. I THINK THE FINAL RESULT WILL BE EITHER 2-1 OR 2-0 FOR BARCA. Maybe Im being to optimistic about it, as we know thar Ronnie, eto o and Messi arent in stagering form at the moment, but I m still keeping my fingers crossed! | | | | | 06-03-07, 08:45 PM | #7 (permalink) | | Important First Team Player Join Date: Feb 2007 Posts: 534 Thanks: 19 Thanked 16 Times in 11 Posts | Well its over now. Ronaldinho could have settled it, but god damn he didnt. I guess it wasnt meant to be.WRONG TACTICS for Barca this time! - but still - CONGRATULATIONS LIVERPOOL! After this one I felt that Barca have broken kinda. Something is gonna crack def. Rijkaard will problably go now, maybe also Ronnie or Eto o - although I hope not. If Rijkaard goes I hope for Schuster (Getafe) or Juande Ramos (Sevilla). If they stay as they are they just need to add Ustari and DANI ALVES FOR GOD SAKES if Chelsea doesnt get him. I would also recommend getting a quality DM like Xabi Alonso for example. The second option would be better I think-putting Marquez to DM and getting a class DC that is big, strong and good in THE AIR - thats something they re lacking if you ask me. If Ronnie goes I wanna see someone like C. Ronaldo although not likely, or Nani from Sporting. And if Eto o goes definetly F. Torres. Yeah I got it from my chest now. | | | | | 06-03-07, 09:06 PM | #8 (permalink) | | Hot Prospect Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: liverpool Posts: 57 Thanks: 5 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts | wtf eto getting played left mid like wtf :( thats a joke get to arsenal or something eto where u can really be worshipped | | | | | 06-03-07, 11:27 PM | #9 (permalink) | | Decent Youngster Join Date: Feb 2007 Posts: 26 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts | poor performance from a poor barcelona team imo. their defence is a joke, thurham has had his days and puyol is gd but he cant defend on his own. midfield is all over the place, they dont know what to do. as for the attackers, not a gd season for ronnie so far and playing eto'o from left was just plain stupid. well done to liverpool thought (however much i dislike them) | | | | | 09-03-07, 03:21 PM | #10 (permalink) | | Used In Squad Rotation Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Galway, Ireland. Although Rafa wanted to go defensive on the counter in the 2nd half and it worked. He went on the attack and if we hadn't scored he would go defensive as a precaution and by God did it work. What a genius this man is. Thuram's days are numbered because he is shite. When Riise hit the post Thuram instead of closing him down he backed off, wtf?? Ronny and Eto'o are out too, definatly Eto'o anyway. Rikjaard without a doubt is gone, it will be hard to win the league and a domestic cup won't be statisfying at all for the board. They won the double last season so why should they go and win one rubbish trophy that only Spanish mid-table and strugglers care about. | | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is On | | | |
