hi, im fairly new and have downloaded a databe update, for queresma in inter, nasri in arsenal, that sort of thing, a really new one. i have posted it in my documents/sportsinteractive/footballmanager08/db folder, yet when i open a new game, its still the same. what should i do?

okay first have you installed the 8.0.2 patch? if not it can be downloaded form here FMFormation.net - Football Manager - FM2008 - Downloads - PC - 8.0.2 Patch and also have you got winrar? and what db have you downloaded?

i have got a version that says 8.0, and i downloaded a db called tmrs or something

yeah you need to download the 8.0.2 patch for the db to work just click on the link above

I have no idea where can download new update data patch (up to 28 October 2008) for FM 2008.

ive downloaded v8.02 and weegie upd8 but still old 1 and I dont no were they shud b as i mucked around with them a bit.

no point of downloading the latest db now as its better to wait for fm09 which is much better IMO.

u put the weegie update in the 'db folder and the patch puts itself where it is supposed to be
