I have to say thanks because the update is very good but I detected a mistake. In Portugal, particulary in Benfica, Makukula is not in loan to Maritimo... My team is Benfica so i would like that you repar this mistake.

Firstly, thank you for the update.

Michele Paolucci is still in Udinese as he should be in Atalanta BC.

So,

Michele Paolucci Udinese -> Atalanta

Some reports say that he joined them on loan and some reports suggest that the deal is permanent. So maybe someone knows for sure?

edit: A couple of additions,

Ahmed Barusso Roma -> Galatasaray (loan)
Matteo Melara Torino -> Livorno

Q.P.R. has a sugar daddy. This means that the chairman will put big bucks in the club whenever he feels like it. Pretty much the same as how it is in real life.

Also Juan Pablo Carrizo still doesn't play for Lazio so he is on loan at River Plate.

Eugenio Corini joined Torino in summer '07 so he will not be joining them in '08.

Is quality on the whole but Swindon Town haven't been done properly (I'm a Swindon fan lol) !!

What needs changing:-

1) Mauro Almeida and Ibon Arrieta were released in January
2) Kaid Mohammed went on loan to Torquay in January
3) Before the end of the transfer window, Dave Byrne was promoted to Asst Manager and Paul Bodin came in as Youth Coach.
4) THERE WAS A BIG TAKEOVER IN EARLY JANUARY !!!!!!
The current board is as follows:
Chairman - Andrew Fitton
Man Director - Jeremy Wray
Director - Russell Backhouse
Director - Nick Watkins
There is also a large financial backing, including Andrew Fitton, Sir Martyn Arbib and the founder of Betfair Andrew Black! They are worth over £500 million collectively, however, they have only cleared the clubs debts and injected one or two million in to the day-to-day running of the club. They are very rich but cautious.

On the whole though thumbs up!

Steve, we do not do short term loan deals, Kaid Mohammed only went on a 1 month loan.

Dont know about the others though, so you will need to speak to Bozza

Overall great but few things about Sporting Clube de Portugal that are wrong or missing:

Carlos Paredes was released/bought out.
Celsinho is under contract to Sporting till 2012 and Loko Moscow own 50% of his next/future transfer fee.
Yannick Djalo was resigned last year to a contract till 2011/2012. Believe the release clause is 25m Euros.
If I remeber correctly Tonel was also resigned to 2/3 year extension, again IIRC?.
Sporting hold a 3M option to buy at the end of Grimi's loan spell.
Gladstone has a 3M Euro option in his loan deal.
Izmailov has a 3.5M Euro clause in his.
Daniel Carrico has moved to AEL Limassol on loan till end of the season after his spell at Olhanese(sp?).
Andre Marques has moved to Trofense on loan till end of the season.
Fabio Paim has moved to Pacos de Ferreira on loan till end of the season.
Celestino has moved to Estrela Amadora on loan till end of the season.
Both Perereinha and Mihai Rabut (Sporting Junior/U19) have played at rightback, both competent if that's the rating.
Missing Sporting juniors/U19s are: Wellington Matos CD; Nuno Silva GK; Tiago Pedrosa DLC; Rui Figuiredo DR; William Owusu CM/ST

Now I don't know if this is possible but General Mgr Carlos Freitas leaves/quits in February.

Will look into it. Like TH said, we don't include short term loan deals. Will process the rest though.

Thanks for the changes mate. Both our Portuguese updaters are inactive unfortunately so I can understand that Portugal isn't as uptodate as I hoped it would be. If you are interested in becoming a scout for the db update please let me know. Would be great to see Portugal uptodate again, especially with the summer update!

a very very very very small thing. theres 2 chuck martini of morocco in the game when i was looking for a gk. one short, one tall. both gk, both 5 caps.

apparently he is a manager of non league club godalming. not sure if it exists in the game though.
