Default *** Official FMF Update Transfers & Changes Thread ***

After all succesfull database releases for FM2006 we will continue trying to do the same for FM2007. After the first patch we will start immidiately with the first version. Please post here everything you found that isn't correct in the game. We will make sure that if your information is correct that it will be done in the first coming fixture! With your help we can make this update the best available on the internet again!

- Give the correct information needed for changing(transfer fee, clubs that are involved, contract length, etcetera)
- Please don't mention loans shorter then 2 months
- Please don't mention injuries shorter then 2 months
- We will not make players better or worse unless its a very obvious change. So please don't ask for these kind of changes.

My first mistake is Theo Lucius. He went to Feyenoord from PSV this season and he isn't in FM07 at all.

Please don't mention those 1 month loans. It's too much work and they only last a month. After that we can change it back. That is too much work...

Excellent work mate! Definately going to change this. Except for Elkhatabbi he is not retired yet. That was a fault by the media. Big chanse he is signing for Willem 2 or Sparta this winter!

Peter... we do real life transfers, loans and bans. If we do it your way and the january transfers are happening we have to do with each player a future transfer coz when you start the game he isn't at his new club yet. The bans are over in real life and so is it in the update...

The bans of those players are already gone right? So you want bans in the db update that started at the beginning of the season. We don't work that way. Example: the game in FM07 starts in july 2006. When in real life a player was injured in july 2006 for 5 months (till January) he's in the game with that injury. But when we release a db update in January we've removed his injury coz in january he's not injured anymore. What you are saying is that you want the injuries and bans when they started. So that would be the same with transfers. When a players moves to another club in January, you want it to be in the game that he has a future transfer in January right?

We just do it real life. The bans are gone now so they are also gone in the db update. Same with transfers. When a transfers happends in January, the player is at his new club in the db update when you start a new game in FM07.

Hope I've made it any clearer lol.

Duplicates
Unfortunately you cannot delete a player, so the following duplicates in the database need to be replaced. These dupes were unfortunately missed as they were spelled differently in the two instances

Blair Tomlie (Hibs) - is a dupe of Blair Tolmie (Hibs), so just go into the Tomlie file and change his name and details, perhaps to add yourself, or any other new player you wish.
Eddie Odihambo (Leicester) is a dupe of Eddie Odhiambo (Leicester), so just go into the Odihambo file and change his name and details, perhaps to add yourself, or any other new player you wish. Odhiambo also now has squad number 33.
Martyn Woolford (Frickley) - is a dupe of Martyn Woolford (York), so just go into the Woolford (Frickley) file and change his name and details, perhaps to add yourself, or any other new player you wish.
Suggested new individuals to add in their place are:
Kurt Robinson (Ipswich) DL - b 21/10/89 in Basildon. 1.73m, 72kg CA 53 PA -7 (go to 'Player data>Reputation'), PT contract.

Nigel Doughty (Nottingham Forest). Chairman. Est born 1963.
NB - There are two Craig Johnston's at Workington. Please note that this IS correct.
