FMFormation's Database Update v9.01b
It is the very first release of FMFormation's Database Update and so far, only available to Donators! These so called beta versions are very popular and released frequently. This gives Donators the opportunity to start a game with an up-to-date database whenever they want to.
If you want to become a Donator, please read this topic. Becoming a Donator gives you the opportunity to help FMF to survive but it also gives you tons of advantages towards regular members. Your username becomes black (will make you stand out more), you get access to the beta versions of our update and you have the opportunity to become a youngster in the database! And that's not all.... just read the topic and let us convince you!

Updated till August 11, 2009.
Includes:
- The latest transfers, loan deals, staff changes etc. etc.
- Removed old injuries and old loans. Changed future transfers into permanent transfers as well.
- Detailed transfer information for many countries (e.a. England, Scotland, Holland, Belgium, Germany and many more).
- Promotion/Relegation for many countries.
- European Qualifiers.
- 2009/2010 Super Cup fixtures.
- Much, much more...

Extract the folder to /My Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2009/db
Don't change the name of the folder. Patch 9.0.3 is recommended (and perhaps even needed) in order to play using this database.

fantastic stuff paul and bozza i will be downloading it, i have also added some transfers to england on my scout reports, anyway cheers once again.
is there anything mentioned on removing the teams on minus pts? I know hica created new teams for the clubs in minus pts so the club ids have changed. This means any logos for the teams won't work.

Oh right, something like that should be in the final version definitely just to stop people asking 'why dont my logos work for Bournemouth'. Or it should be put on the download link as not everyone will read the readme.

This is something I don't even know yet hehe. Hicapaul has to give an answer on this himself. I never knew he cloned teams for the club with points deduction. Indeed, the club ids will change. Might be a good idea if we would include an additional logo pack to install and a readme on how to configure your existing logos so that they show up at the cloned clubs.
Another problem with cloning clubs could be that with a network game between two users, both need to have the database installed on their computer. I know that with FM07, it gave errors during a network game if only one had the database update installed. Perhaps the problem has been solved with FM09. Can't comment on that yet.

Good news for the Donators: You can expect a new beta version tonight! A lot of changes have been made in the most important countries but smaller ones as well (e.a. Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Mexico and a lot more...).
