Also retirements, new contracts etc etc.
- Staff changes. Hired managers, resigned manager, new chairmen etc. etc.
- Renewed contracts of many players and managers.
- All English transfers also have correct contract.
- Loans which ended have been removed.
- Old injuries removed and a couple of new injuries added.
- Promotion/relegation done for the countries whos competition ended in the winter!
- Extensive scouting for many countries like Australia, Belgium, Croatia, England, France, Germany, Holland, Ireland, Italy, N. Ireland, Norway, Poland, Scotland, Spain, USA and more.
- And more.... much more!

did you make sure you followed the checklist?
make sure you put it in the right directory, dont confuse C:/Program Files/SI/FM2008 with My Docs/SI/FM2008/db |

and are premeirship teams really going to have 7 subs from next seasons onward? |

Do you mean the 8.0.2 patch?
If so you need to download it, you can find it on the homepage or in the download centre, and then you should be prompted to update your game when the download finishes.
After updating, download the FMF V1.0 DB and extract using WinRAR to:
My Docs/Sports Interactive/Footbaall Manager 2008/db
Do not rename the db folder. That should do it, load up FM and see if you can select it when loading a new game! If not come back here and I will attempt to give you further help! |
