The Use Of This Forum!

Let me tell you something about the use of this forum. This isn’t the kind of Football Manager forum you would expect. There are already a lot of FM forums where you can chat about the talk, talk about good or talented players or share a superb tactic to win every match. No, this forum is about the downloads of FM2006. The regular downloads like patches, utilities and database updates but also and maybe more important, graphical downloads like skins, face packs, logos etc. etc.

So now you know what this forum is for. But what can you do with it? That is a good question you could ask yourself. The answer is rather simple. Talk about downloads, talk about graphics, request graphics, make graphics and so on. As you can see on the main forum, there are a lot of sections. As for the downloads and graphical sections, only the admins will create topics in there. These topics will always be downloads. For the graphical part, we want to be specialized in Rotated Logos, Large Face Packs and 2GT Kits. Our opinion is that those three are a great combination together and will go perfectly with every skin. That’s why we’ve decided to collect all the downloads from those three and also make combined packs that no other website of forum can provide. If you have experience with creating these logos, face packs or kits, we can always use an helping hand to make FMFormation better and more complete. If you want something graphical that isn’t on this forum or anywhere else as far as you know you can always request it in the Request section.

Enough talk about the downloads, let’s talk about what this forum can offer you.

Downloading

Downloading on this forum is totally free. There are no costs and we try to achieve a good and reliable hosting. Some sections are filled with downloads that are similar and do the same thing. The only way for visitors to decide which download they want is to read comments of the download. So if you decide to use a download (especially a graphical one) please do us and the other visitors a favour by posting a comment and tell us if you liked it or if you didn’t like it.

Shoutbox

There aren’t a lot of forums that have their own shoutbox. So don’t abuse it. A shoutbox is handy for quick help and to discuss about all kind of things. Keep it nice and clean, help each other and most important, have fun.

vbPager

vbPager is a mix of MSN Instant Messenger and the normal Private Message system you know from all kind of forums. vbPager combines both and makes private chatting on a forum more fun and easier then you’ve ever seen before. If you want to send a message through vbPager just click on the member name (for example @ Who’s Online at the bottom on the main forum) and click on the vbPager button.

This is a place where you can help FMFormation. Found a download or something graphical that isn’t on this forum yet? Make a topic in this section and we will add it for you a.s.a.p. Don’t forget to read the rules first before posting.

General Forum Rules

We can now make a huge list of things that you aren’t allowed to do. We won’t do that. This forum has got the same rules as any other forum. Just don’t do stupid things, things you wouldn’t do in real life. Why do them here then? Just have fun and try to make FMFormation better. And if you don’t like our forum, just leave! We aren’t forcing you to be here.

Posting downloads at other sites/forums.

This is allowed. We also grabbed most downloads from other sites/forums. But we also made some graphics ourselves. You are free to post it on your site/forum. We just hope you are so descent to say from where you’ve got the download. It’s one big scene and every site can use the help they can get to become bigger and well-known in the FM scene.

It isn’t allowed to post our download link on your site/forum. This is for us a waste of bandwidth and bandwidth isn’t cheap!

Partnership

Because FMFormation is in a developing stage we can always use partners. Here are two ways how you can become our partner:

1. You have a FM2006 website and you are willing to link your download section on your site to our forum. This means this forum is the download database of your website. In return we will promote your site on our main forum.
2. You have a reliable webhost. Because we are trying to strive for a complete download database we need all the webspace we can get. We’ve already got a fast and huge webhost but still it isn’t enough for all the downloads. If you can help us out with this we will promote your site big time.
