Title says it all really.

Did I request it and if so where and when did I request it. How would I disable this feature as I like to biuld up a nice juicy shortlist and keep it without the assistant removing people.

When you scout a player for example, it adds that player to your shortlist for one year. You can select 'Indefinitely' from the actions>add to shortlist menu

Yeah, that's what I've been doing.

Then every 6 months they get 'purged'

its because as your team improves, your assistant manager looks at your shortlist and goes "He's just won the Treble, why does he want to sign a player with Championship ability" so he takes him off the shortlist.

I know its annoying but the only way to combat it is to add them onto the shortlist again when your Assistant takes them off. You should get a message telling you that he's taken them off so just re-add them.

He only does it once or twice a year so it shouldn't be a huge problem. Hope this helps.

Right. I wouldn't mind so much but he's removed players I'm still very much interested in.

Nevermind, I'll just have to work around it.

I thought it's related with your comments on the player.

Anyways, one time, he deleted 10 people from my shortlist at one go, including some great players, never knew Tony Adams in FM is so stupid >_>

humm iv never had this before :O i think its because who is ever on my shortlist is always added as indefinitely, also i always scout all my shortlist at regular times and end up removing players myself haha
