Here is the Table as of November 1st

Gook is shown on the Sky Sports Three Program, Blue Square Football sitting in his chair preparing to talk to the viewers about his sides October.

"My first game of the month was against the lowly Worchester side who at the time of us playing them where sitting bottom of the table with just 6 points on the board. The first half of this game was a complete bore for all the neutrals and the only really chance of the half came in the 40th minute when Moore had a One on One with their keeper and rattled the bar and go over for a Goal Kick. After half time, the first major event in the match happened. Moore was through One On One once again and this time he managed to put us 1-0 up after expertly slotting the ball past the keeper. Then in the 52nd Minute the next goal game courtesy of Granty. He done brilliantly running past every defender that attempted to tackle him before finishing it off himself. In The 62th Minute another awesome finish saw our inform side go further ahead once again after a brilliant ball from Jaggers saw Moore, turn a defender before finishing with a tight angle in his way. A Penalty was awarded in our favour in the 64th minute and Asa took the penalty sending the keeper the wrong way! Watching Worchester collapse made me realise why they are bottom of the Table. A freak goal came for us in the 79th minute as Turner took a 50 yard free kick only for the keeper to spill it and somehow throw the ball over his own line! A lapse in concentration cost us our clean sheet as we allowed them to score in the final minute. Then with the final kick of the game, Birchy scored a simple 8 yard header from a brilliant cross from Granty. The game ended 6-1 but id much rather it had been 5-0, i just want clean sheets!"

"That night was brilliant! We were in the changing room when we heard that Southport drew 1-1 with Stalybridge confirming that We were top of the Blue Square North Division! We were top by 1 Point! The lads went mental in the changing room and the chairman, Lee Carter came into the dressing room saying what an awesome achievement this was! To be perfectley honest, I don't remember that night at all!!"

"The next game we had was against Blyth at Home in with the New Bucks Head faithful in full voice screaming WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE, as we came out to start the match! The game itself was again a boring game until the 30th minute which was when we took the lead against the lowly placed side. Birchy once again scored a goal which came from a great move! In The 59th minute we lost Granty to injury which was later revealed as a sprained ankle and he will be out for 3-8 weeks. The 63rd minute brought disaster as once again poor defending allowed Blyth to equalise. The 75th minute gave us the lead again and once again it was our great Birchy who popped up with the goal after a great flick on from Moore. Birchy could have had his hat-trick but was denied by the post. Then in the last 30 seconds a moment of madness came across Wellsy who got sent off and coming on as sub for Granty. In the end, we took the 2-1 win which meant we were still top of the league much to the delight of our home faithful! Such a shame about the injury to Granty at this vital stage of the season!"

"We didnt have many matches this month as Hinckley progressed in the FA Cup so we have to re-arrange our fixture."

"WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE AND NOT MOVING!"

Here is the Table as of December 1st.

The Sky Sports show Blue Square Football, returns to the screens of the hundreds of viewers as the pictures show Gook, sitting relaxed ready to talk to the nation about his teams latest month, November.

"Hey guys, let me just talk about the month in general first. We played 5 games this month including our first FA Trophy Game!"

"Our first match of the month was a good game. We faced the mid-table Hinckley away at the Marston Stadium. The side are underachieving according to the press after a strong 3rd position was their predicted finish. The game started with us attacking like I instructed my team to do. We had some great chances in the first 10 minutes but we couldnt hit the barn door! The first goal of the month came on the 13th minute after an awesome finish from Piscina saw the keeper flat footed staring at the ball sailing into the top corner. We doubled our lead in the match just 4 minutes later when Jaggers picked up the ball just outside his own box before he entered the box and then he drove the ball above the keepers head. The game became a battle like usual and we eventually created another chance but Birchy failed to take it after going one on one with their keeper. Hinckley responded with a goal of their own after a great finish after a laspe in concentration caused Philpott to have the ability to unleash his shot. They had another chance in the 88th minute however Hinckley failed to take it. The game finished 2-1 giving us the top spot for at least another game."

A Video package runs briefly showing Piscina's Goal.

"The game at New Heads Buck against Redditch was a tough one despite Redditch getting reduced to 10 men in just the 24th minute for a second bokkable offence. At first, i thought the referee was just going to let the challenge go and for a moment when he blew his whistle I thought he was going to come and send me off for protesting against the decision, however the referee saw sense and booked Francis for his challenge. The 4th official warned me but that didn't affect me at the time! The thing that really....annoyed me was that we sat back even though we were at home with a man advantage! In the second half the lads seemed tired and we were gifted a goal after their keeper kicked a flat clearance straight to Birchy who slotted it into the unguarded net. The Game Died out but Brocky had to make some tremendous saves to deny Redditch. The performance frustrated me but three points is three points at the end of the day!"

A Video shows the winning goal scored by Birchy against Redditch.

"The next game we had was a predicted easy win for us against the lowly Solihull Moors who are currently in the relegation zone. We started slowly especially in the first minute after Brocky was called upon and made a world class save to deny Morrison. There were no clear cut chances for either team until we made the breakthrough both myself and the fans expected in the 38th minute when Piscina once again put us ahead after only having to beat the goalkeeper! We then had a glorious opportunity to secure a 2-0 lead almost instantly however, Birchy hit the side-netting instead. They had a chance with the final kick of the half but we entered the break at just 1-0. Once again, at the restart we all lost concentration apart from the awesome Brocky and he stopped a shot from Davidson to retain our 1-0 lead! Then the fans finally had something to cheer about in the 60th Minute when we scored after a good finish from Birchy from a tight angle. The game closed out after a late flurry of chances for the relegation candidates!"

A Video Package Shows the opening goal scored by Piscina

"Our fourth game of the month was a BIG game! A Fellow promotion hopefuls, a good team, Boston United at New Bucks Head! The game was a scrap until the first break of the match in the 18th minute however, Moore missed the opportunity to take the lead for his club Telford after his spectactular half volley flew sailing over the bar. The game looked in our favour however the away side took the lead in the 28th minute after a great finish from Cyan into the top corner leaving Brocky with no chance! Just two minutes later our defence were nowhere as Ainsworth missed a golden opportunity to pile on more misery for our side. However, straight after that attack we pounced with Moore scoring a great free kick which was nearly stopped by the opposing keeper. The 41st minute brought another opportunity for Boston as Ainsworth once again missed a sitter as he blasted into the side netting. Little was created in the second half apart from a chance each. Ours brought a great save from their keeper and Bostons was missed by none other than Ainsworth after he went through one on one with Brocky before blazing the ball high above the stand. Despite Boston dominating the match we scrapped through and came away with a valuable point."

Moores free kick is shown to the audience!

"A Welcome Distraction from the league came in our final game in November as we started our journey into the FA Trophy. We were drawn against the minnows of Ashford at New Bucks Head and the lads were buzzing for this game! We got off to a flyer going 2-0 after just 10 minutes the first was a great free kick curled into the near post from Piscina. The Second was scored by the other hitman, Birchy after his was just a simple finish. We sat back and tried to avoid any injuries at this stage of the season. There were a few more chances but the game finished 2-0 with us progressing. The Next Round brought us a draw against the Blue Square South team of St Albans City who are sitting 7th in their league."

The interview draws to a close after some brief words from Gook.

"December will be one to remember!"

Here is the Table as of January 1st.

The time of Month has come again for Gook to talk to the nation on the show Blue Square Football shown only on Sky Sports 3! Gook is sitting relaxed in his chair after a monster month with lots of games being played!

"What a month! im exhausted! 6 Games cant be good for me! Right lets waste no time as I have the six games to get through!"

"First, was a tough game away at Kettering who at the time were 5th and they were certainly gonna be no pushovers with the bookmakers back the Home team to get the results. Not that im a betting man of course! The fifth minute brought our first attack and a great save from the Kettering keeper kept us out. We had a couple of corners from the attack but nothing came from them! The momentum swung the other way as Kettering began to attack and the reds should have scored in the 10th minute after some good build-up play but Rawle missed the chance and put it into the side netting! Just a minute later Brocky once again made a quality save before charlton followed in and cleared the ball off the line stopping Kettering take an early lead. The 18th minute saw Birchy free on the penalty spot only to head over the bar from a free header! There were no more clear cut chances until the 38th minute and it was taking by Kettering for them to take the lead after a great ball caused our defence all kinds of problems and Westcarr nodded home. To be honest though Westcarr seemed so far offside! They dominated the first 15 minutes of the second half and they could have easily made it 4-0 but the score remained at 1-0. We battled until the final whistle and we dominated but could not find that killer goal, sending us crashing to that should-have-been-offside goal! I spoke out at the end of the match and recieved a warning after TV replays showed that i was wrong for once!"

A Video Shows Redditch's Goal

"The next game brought us against Gainsborough but before we went to New Bucks Head, Granty came back to full training which was great news for me and the whole club! The first half was tight but the only another shocking decision cost us as the referee gave an awful penalty for a reason i still dont know! Jaggers once again disagreed with the decision and Needham stepped up and scored to give Gainsborough the lead at the break! The third minute of the second half brought disaster! A simple short goalkick from brocky was played back to him by Vaugheny but the ball took a bobble and rolled into the back of the net much to the disgust of the 1000+ fans at New Bucks Head! After a quick throw in by Gainsborough they took the ball into the box and Hall buried the ball past Brocky leaving him no chance and giving Gainsborough the 3-0 lead. The game swinged slightly and Birchy got what proved to be little more than a consolation as a deflection took the ball past their keeper! I Wasnt happy with the penalty and once again spoke out and surprising the FA remained silent this time as they feel my judgement was right!"

Own Goal by Vaughen is shown

"The big game was next! The FA Trophy first round match against the strong outfit of St Albans at New Bucks Head. The 15th minute brought the first goal and for once this month it was us who got it! Jaggers won the ball from a knock down by Birchy and then carried the ball into the box before slotting in the bottom corner. The game opened up when Scott broke through but he blasted high over the bar much to my relief! The half time whistle went and the 981 fans were delighted at how the much we had dominated the match. The Final few minutes were all St Albans but Brocky was in inspired form and kept them at bay, and in the 89th minute Moore should have settled the game but his shot crept wide. Then in the 4th minute of added on time, we cracked under the pressure as Hann bundled the ball over the line much to the disgust of our fans! I soon got them encouraging the lads though. The goal was a sucker punch and sent the game to a replay which was held just 5 days later on the 20th December."

Jaggers opens the scoring

"The replay came at the wrong time for us, as the confidence was lacking despite us doing much better than expected in the league to date! The game started awfully for us as in the 6th minute Clarke broke away and finished expertly leaving Brocky with no chance. There were no other clear cut chances until the second half. In Just the 46th minute a clear break for us was once again finished poorly by Birchy who could only hit the side netting. Then in the 60th minute our Cup dreams looked over after a mistake from Teeser after he thumped a header past Brocky. A good cross from Turner sent Piscina through and he finished expertly and brought us within touching distance of an equaliser! In the 74th minute a counter attack undone St Albans after a stunning through ball by Piscina set Moore through one on one with the Albans keeper and Lee Moore grabbed his chance with both hands and brought us level. The 88th minute saw me so relieved after Birchy scored a vital goal after another quick counter attack! The game came to an end after a couple of chances came to nothing for Albans. We face Aldershot at home in the next round!"

Albans Goal Of The Game

"Boxing Day, the day after the night before! Im hoping my players were true to their word and didnt get drunk. We faced a tough match against Barrow at New Bucks Head and the game started slowly until the 13th minute when a long ball by Teesdale was gambled on by Moore and as the keeper misread the ball and Moore had the simplest on finishes to give us the lead. After just 20 minutes we were 2-0 up and a great cross from deany allowed Birchy to carry on his fantastic goal-scoring form. Barrow had a couple of goalscoring opportunities but it was us who took the 2-0 lead into the half time interval. The second half brought little opportunities for either team apart from when Vaughen hit the woodwork for us but in the end we were happy with the 2-0 lead."

Moores Opener

"The last game of the month saw us face a midtable Stalybridge at New Bucks Head again. We took the lead after just 28 seconds. A through ball from the inform Teesdale set another inform player Moore, through on goal and once again Moore took the chance after he took a touch and spanked it into the back of the net much to the delight of the early fans at the New Bucks Head however their was bemusement amongst the late comers to find us 1-0 up! A few shots flew in for both clubs but there were no obvious goalscoring chances. Then in the 38th minute we gifted a goal to Stalybridge as Vaughen played the ball straight to Hanley who was standing unmarked in the box so he has a simple finish! The second half started with us dominating the match we created a few chances which fell to Moore and Jaggers but neither of them could finish! Then came the breakthrough after a scramble in the box was cleared as far as Piscina who delivered a quality ball for Birchy to finish and give us the lead for the second time! We held out for a hard much sought after victory."

Moores Super Quick Opener

"Watch Out Southport, We are watching your every move!"
