Mizzi named as Preston Manager Preston North End have today named highly ranked Maltese manager Luke Mizzi as their manager after Bill Davies resigned two days ago. Mizzi famously took Valletta Fc to the 3rd round of Champions League qualiflying. He also got Blackpool promted to the Championship. There are alot of Journalists ready to shoot the questions to Mizzi. David Nugent,Preston North End's star player has been atracting interest from top Premiership clubs recently and Preston Manager Luke Mizzi seems to be ready to sell the forward. This decision seems to be an odd one by Preston's new manager but it is believed that Mizzi wants to have more money available to the squad. The scorers were David Nugent,who might have been playing his last game for Preston,Chivers , Agyemang and Sedwick. Goalkeeper Howarth also made his debut for Preston with some impressive saves. A very positive sign was the performance of Dwight Yorke who scored a fantastic goal after 11 minutes. In the 18th minute Preston's new goalkeeper Howarth got injured and was replaced by Andrew Longan. Napoli then equalized through Sosa in the 38th minute. They then took the lead once again a great goal by Sosa.
