The FA announce a big change in football

The chiefs of the football association have announced that English football is going to make a big change by making the premiership as a draft league. The FA announced this decision after researching the MLS where it has been successful up to now.

But some fans from other countries may be unhappy about this change, as they will be losing all their good players from their favourite team, the most countries that will suffer are: Spain, Italy, France and Germany. But the chiefs of football around Europe have accepted the enquiry of the change only if players before the draft will be all freed by their clubs on a free agent.

The draft will be on tomorrow where each team will be drafted with twenty two players, from which the FA and UEFA have selected, each team will have after the draft: Three Goalkeepers, Seven Defenders, One defensive mid-fielder, Seven mid-fielders and Four strikers.

The FA and UEFA also early released that every Premiership club will have around twenty million pounds in their bank, and the championship will also have around twenty, they decided on this so if teams get promoted to the premiership, their wouldn't be a big chance of them getting relegated in their first season...Our sports reporter Lee Dixon was speaking to the FA and UEFA yesterday.

"Its a big surprise for English football and to other countries around the world, how do the chiefs of Europe feel on this"

"We have been through the advantages and dis-advantages on this idea, and we decided to go ahead with this, I'm sure fans and clubs will be unhappy that they will be probably losing their star players"

"Is their anything you are planning to do to stop things as such as protests"

"Before the draft tomorrow, each premiership club have to release their first team players, whom after will be available on a free transfer, where anyone in the world can offer the players a contract"

"Thanks for our questions"

I'm sure tomorrow, their will be a lot of people tuning in to see the draft draw, live in Solo square, where the draws will be made by: Pele, Trevor Brooking, Geoff Hurst and Gary Linekar.

Brooking Books into Upton Park

Earlier on today their was a press conference with West Ham chairman Eggert Magnusson revealing his overwhelm of joy with the draft draw and was asked which manager he would want, and the man he chose was West Ham legend, Sir Trevor Brooking

Trevor Brooking has been part of the West Ham board/staff before and this time he manages the club as English football takes a new step. Trevor Brooking will be hoping to take car of the season by sending West Ham through with another UEFA cup place, or even champions league, who knows?

We spoke to a few West Ham supporters yesterday about the draw and the choice of Eggert Magnusson to chose legend Trevor Brooking:

"I think its a perfect choice by Eggert, a legend of this club and he will always be a legend, and with a cracking draft draw for us, I think we have a bigger chance of success this season!"

I think we could have made a choice in getting a more experience manager but I'm happy that we got a good draw, with the likes of Rinaldinho and Cristiano Ronaldo"

"I'm delighted with the choice and even more delighted with the players what we have now, who knows how the league is now going to finish like, but time will tell, next month when the season starts"

Well it seems that the West Ham fans are all delighted and both decisions, time will tell though for Brooking if he can cope in management when he faces Tottenham Hotspur at home of the first game of the season
