I Felt Confident And Decided To Pick A Very Strong Side. The Lineup Was: Paul Smith John Curtis Alan Wright (Debut) Wes Morgan Malky Makay (Debut) Nicky Southall Kirs Commons Sammy Clingan James Perch Grant Holt Nathon Tyson. The Game Started Well With A Very Open Game. Both Teams Had Chances To Score But Didn't Take Them. When The 39th Minute Came The Forest Fans Looked Worried As Grant Holt Had To Be Stretchered Off. Jack Lester Came On To Replace Him. When We Were Thinking A No Goal First Half On The 43rd Minute Forest Right Winger Nicky Southall Comes Out With A 30 Yard Free Kick Which No Keeper Was Getting. This Left The Forest Fans And I Happy At Half Time. I Gave The Boys Encouragement Hoping They Would Bah Another Which They Did. On The 49th Minute ANOTHER 30 Yard Unstopable Free Kick From Nicky Southall Left The Forest Crowd Amazed. In The Celebration Southall Picked Up A Niggle And Had To Be Subbed For Grant Holt. The Game Went Dull And I Decided To Make Forest Fans Lift Themselves Up. I Brang On Marcus Stewart For Nathan Tyson On The 67th Minute. Stewart Made A Big Impact And Put The Rotheram Defence Under Trouble But Didnt Matter When Rotheram Got A Goal On The 75th Minute With Eugene Bopp Geting Them A Way Back Into This Game. It Went Dull And Forest Dominated For The Last 15 Minutes, When Suddenly Poor Marking From Forest Defence Left Will Hoskins To Score A Late Equaliser. I Was Gutted And So Where The Players And Fans. I Knew This Was GOing To Be A Hard Game So I Was Hoping The Boys Could Compete Against These. We Started Well With Forest Hitting The Post Twice In 9 Minutes. We Kept On Dominating And When The 38th Minute Came Jack Lester Got In Behind The Defence To Make It 1-0 Forest. The Fans Errupted And So Did I. Half Time Came And I Told Them To Keep Play How They Are And Get Another. Nathan Tyson Had Picked Up A Niggle So I Decided To Bring On Marcus Stewart. We Started Well With Stewart Pressurising The Defence. The 55th Minute Came And Crewe Got On The Counter Attack. Nicky Maynard Whipped In A Ball Which Met Michael Higdon's Head To Make It 1-1. I Was Gutted But Told Them To Play How They Were. The 75th Minute Came And Jack Lester Was Subbed For Junior Agogo Hoping He Will Do Something. It Didn't Happen And Once Again Forest Drew. It Was A Dull First Half As No Side Looked To Open The Scoring. I Told Them They Can Win This If They Up There Tempo, Which They Did. We Dominated For The Early Stages Of The Game And When The 65th Minute Came We Got Our Rewards, Cross From Nicky Southall Met By The Head Of Nathan Tyson To Make It 1-0 Forest. After The Goal Went In I Decided To Make Some Changes. Gary Holt For James Perch And Marcus Stewart For Jack Lester. BlackPool Came Back With Some Good Football So I Decided To Make My Last Change Julian Bennet For Nathan Tyson In The 80th Minute. This Made Me Go To A 5-4-1 Formation. We Held Out And Picked Up A First Win. The Forest Fans Cheered When The Whistle Went And I Thanked The Fans For Making The Journey. I Knew This Was Going To Be A Hard Game. It Started A Very Easy For Forest As They Were Piling On The Pressure But Couldnt Score. It Evened Out After 20 Minutes And Turned Into An Open Game. People Were Thinking That It Was Going To Be A 0-0 First Half But The Goal Scoring Machine Nathan Tyson Got A Easy 1on1 Which He Wasnt Going To Miss. Forest Were Up 1-0 And The Half Time Whistle Went. I Encouraged The Boys And Told Them To Keep Playing How They Were. The Second Half Was Dull And I Decided To Liven It Up By Making 2 Subs In The 68th Minute. Gary Holt For James Perch And Marcus Stewart For Jack Lester. These 2 Brightened Up The Game And Made There Own Chances. With 5 Minutes To Go Oldham Had A Man Sent Off For Pulling Tyson Down When He Was 1on1. This Left Them With Only 3 At The Back Which Gave Them More To Handle. The Whistle Went And The Away Fans Were Waving The Oldham Fans GoodBye. We Dominated For The Whole Game And Got Our Reward On The 36th Minute When A New Face James Beaumont Scored To Make It 1-0. StockPort Cam Back From The Goal And Got A Penalty, But The Shot Was Saved By Sub Keeper Rune Pedersen. 3 Minutes Later StockPort Got A Undeserved Goal On The 39th Minute To Put Them Level. This Ended A Good But Tight First Half. I Told The Boys They Could Win This And It Seemed Like They Didn't Listen. Both Teams Didn't Look Like Scoring So I Decided To Make All 3 Changes On The 65th Minute. Malky Mackay, Junior Agogo And Nathan Tyson Came On Julian Bennet, Marcus Stewart And Gary Holt. This Didn't Really Spark The Game And EveryOne Was Looking FOr Extra Time. The 90th Minute Came And We Won A Free-Kick From 25 Yars Out. Southall Steped Up And Put It Away With Ease. 2-1 Forest And It Was Deserved. The Full Time Whistle Went And I Was Please But Was Hoping FOr More. I Was Looking For 3 Easy Points Really. It Was A Great Start With Nathan Tyson Going 1on1 In The First 30 Seconds And Putting Forest 1-0 Up. Not Long After A Kris Commons Cross Was Met By Sammy Clingan To Make It 2 Up After 13 Minutes, A Wonderful Start. The Game Calmed Down But We Still Dominated Till Half Time. The Fans Were Really Happy With The Peformance And So Was I. I Told Them To Keep Up There Peformance Which They Didnt Do. The Game Turned Into An Open Game And They Pulled One Back In The 61st Minute From Karl Hawley. After This Goal I Brang On All 3 Subs. Stewart, Lester And Gary Holt For Tyson, Grant Holt And Perch. The 2 Strikers Made A Good Impact And When The 81st Minute Came Lester Set Up Stewart For His 1st League Goal Of The Season And He Showed It By Over Celebrating. He Was Not Going To Stop There Because On The 90th Minute He Decided To Slot Home A Good Ball From Sammy Clingan Away To End The Game At 4-1. Good Result Which Kept Me And The Fans Happy. I Was Hoping For Another Red And White Win Today. A Poor Start But Forest Which Led Them Going 1-0 Down On The 13th Minute, It Wasnt Looking Good. Things Was Not Looking Better As We Went 2 -0 Down. We Came Back Looking Stronger But Could'nt Find A Goal Before Half Time. I Was Not Happy And Told Them To Sort It Out All There Will Be Changes. Things Didn't Look Better And When The 65th Minute Came I Made Some Changes. Stewart, Lester And Bennet For Mackay, Perch And Morgan. Things Didn't Get Better And They Started Taking The Piss When They Went 3-0 Up On The 75th Minute. I Was Furiuos. The Final Whistle Went And I Told Them How F**KING UNHAPPY I WAS. This Was My Starting 11 And I Was Hoping To Get Back On Winning Tracks. A Great Start For Forest When Jack Lester Put Forest 1-0 Up. Apart From This The Game Went Dull And It Was A 1-0 Lead For Us At Half Time. I Encouraged The Boys To Score More. It Was A Dull Second Half But In The 62nd Minute Things Got Worse For Bournemouth As Sam Williams Got His 2nd Yellow Card And Went Off Walking Down The Tunnel. This Left Bournemouth Under Pressure And 2 Minutes Later Nathan Tyson Put A Good Ball Away To Make It 2-0 Forest. The Forest Fans Where Cheering And Were Happy To See Us Back On Winning Ways. After Tyson's Goal I Decided To Take Him Off And Bring On Stewart. I Also Took Of James Perch For Gary Holt. The Subs Didn't Seem To Go To Plan And On The 80th Minute Bournemouth Pulled One Back With A Good Strike By Danny Hollands. I Was Thinking It Was Going To End Up Like The Rotherham Game But We Stuck At It And Got The Result. We Went In Behind At The Break And I Told Them They Can Win This. They Decided To Carry On How They Were Doing And They Dominated The Second Half But No Goals. It Came To The 70th Minute And Marcus Stewart Was Calle On To Take Wes Morang's Place. We Were Going For 3-4-3 Formation. It Didn't Change The Game As Bradford Held On To Take 3 Points. Other Than That It Was Same Squad. I Was Looking Foward To This Game And So Were The Fans. It Started As A Very Open Game And Both Teams Were Not Taking There Chances But In The 29th Minute Stewart Got His Chance And Used His Experience To Slot It Away. 1 - 0 Forest. The Game Went A Little Bit Quite And We Went In 1 - 0 Up At The Break. I Told Them To Keep It Up Which They Did. They Came Out All Guns Blazing And Really Put Pressure On There Defence But Couldnt Score. After The 10 Minute Spell The Game Went Back Open And I Decided To Make All 3 Changes On The 68th Minute. Stewart, Lester And Morgan Came Off For Tyson , Agogo And Bennett. One Of The Subs Made A Big Impact By Winding A Certain Dean Twibey Up Enough To Kick Out At Tyson. This Gave Him A Straight Red Which Left Scunthorpe Short. After This Forest Rolled To Victory And The Forest Fans Were Relieve It Was Over. I But Out A Whole New 11 And Were Not Very Strong. I Was Hoping For A Strong Peformance. It Was A Very Even First Half And Both Teams Had Good Chances To Score. The 33rd Minute Came And James Beaumont Picked Out Junior Agogo Who Spanked The Ball In The Back Of The Net. Forest 1 - 0 And The Fans Couldn't Believe It. The Southend Players Came Back Strong And In The 38th Minute Freddy Eastwood Blasted A 25 Yard Effort Home To Make It 1-1. We Went In At The Break Drawing And I Told The Boys That The Only Need One Goal. It Didn't Go To Plan And Freddy Eastwood Bagged His 2nd Of The Game In The 48th Minute. We Came Back And Dominated For The Next 20 Minutes. It Came To The 68th Minute And I Decided To Go 4-3-3 Formation And I Took Off Cullingworth, Dobie And Agogo For Perch, Holt And Stewart. They Didnt Do Much And The Final Whistle Blew Which Left The Fans Gutted. N.Southall Was Injured So He Wouldnt Be Able To Play. I Was Hoping To Get Back On Winning Ways. It Was A Very Explosive First 20 Minutes And Both Teams Had Chances. In The 19th Minute Nathan Tyson Had To Come Off So Super Sub Marcus Stewart Came On Looking To Beat The Doncaster Defence. After The Injury Nothing Happened And We Went 0-0 At The Break. I Told Them To Do This For The Away Fans And They Didnt Exactly Do That. It Was Another Open Half And Both Teams Couldnt Score. The 67th Minute Came And Marcus Stewart Picked Up And Niggle And Was Subbed For Grant Holt. I Also Took Off Wes Morgan For Julian Bennet. The Game Sparked Up And We Made Better Chances And In The 88th Minute A Good Kris Commons Cross Was Headed In By Sub Grant Holt. The Fans Were Going Mental But I Was Just Relieved. I Kept Same Side Except From The Injured Nathan Tyson Whos Place Was Taken By Marcus Stewart And Junior Agogo Moved Up To The Bench. The Game Started And Forest Expoloded Into Great Football. They Didnt Get A Chance And We Carried On Going At Them And On The 41st Minute Jack Lester Put Away A 1on1 Which Put Forest 1 Up. We Were Thinking Of A 1-0 Lead At The Break But Lester Wasn't Finished And On The 44th Minute Stewart Played Him Through On Another 1on1 And We Went 2-0 Up. Lester Looked Really Up For It. I Told The Boys To Not Let Their Peformance Drop And They Done Exactly That. They Came Out All Guns Blazing And On The 64th Minute We Got Our Reward. A Kris Commons Corner Was Headed In By Captain Malky Mackay. After The Goal I Decided To Take Off Stewart, Lester And Cullingworth For Agogo, Grant Holt And Gary Holt. Lester Got A Great Applause And I Gave Him A Pat On The Back. 5 Minutes Later Cheltenham Replied And Got A 70th Minute Goal From Grant McCann. The Defence Fell Asleep And On The 82nd Minute Cheletenham Got A Second Through Kayode Odejyi. I Was Not Happy And Was Hoping Just To Hold Out. We Came Back In The Last 5 Minutes And Held On. It Was A Very Dull First Half And To Be Honest Yeovil Were The Better Of The Sides. When We Went In At The Break I Told The Lads They Can Win This Game And They Came Out Like The Wanted To, But Still No One Could Score, So On The 72nd Minute Stewart, Lester And Morgan Came Off For Agogo, Grant Holt And Bennett Came On. I Decided To Bring Back Nicky Southall Back Into The Side For James Collingworth And Tyson Came Onto The Bench For Agogo. I Really Wanted This Game. It Started Well As Stewart Got Through The Defence And Was Tripped Up By Kevin O'Connor Who Got Sent Off Which Left Them With 10 Men With 2 Minutes Gone And After This We Dominated All Half But Couldn't Find A Goal. We Went In At The Break Drawing And Told Them To Do This For Fans Which They Did Because In The 47th Minute Marcus Stewart Hit It From 25 Yards To Make It 1 - 0 Forest. What A Goal It Was. We Kept On Dominating And I Decided To Bring On Some Subs On The 66th Minute. Lester, Stewart And Perch Came Off For Tyson, Grant Holt And Gary Holt. All 3 Made An Impact With Them Combinding Together To Make A Good Chance. It Came To The 82nd Minute And Low Cross From Commons Was Diverted In By Grant Holt.
