A new era for the gunners Well Arsenal have moved to a new home stadium of Ashburton Grove and they have in a shock move appointed ex international footballer Simon Sheasby as Manager. David Dein said in a statement to the public "We have decided to go back to basics here at our new home, we decided at the end of last season we wanted to appoint an English manager and therefore Arsene Wenger has decided to hang his boots up for the time being taking time out to spend with his family. As new manager Sheasby walked out onto the turf of Ashburton grove to be greated by cameras and the adoring press wearing a suit and a Arsenal scarf around his neck for good measure. Sheasby stood in the middle holding the scarf above his head and then moved onto a press release. This is a very memorable day for both me and Arsenal football club as i have come to my boy hood dream club. I have spent many seasons playing in England and abroad and that has shown me vast knowledge of both the English leagues and the greatest European leagues. Its funny when I think back to the days i was a trainee for Chesterfield football club, my home town club I never thought i would progress this far but alas I have and I am here today as the new manager of Arsenal. Thank you for coming to this press release and I hope to speak to you more in my future time at Ashburton Grove" David Dein went on to explain Sheasbys contract at Arsenal starting with a years contract with a summary towards the end of the season to see if he is given another deal to stay as Arsenal manager. Sheasby finished his statement by adding "I am looking at strengthing certain aspects of Arsenals current game and squad status" He then walked off typing numbers into his phone and placing it to his ear. Journalists are already speculating his is hot in the transfer market. -- Look here or to my blog page im just about to make for more information on my Arsenal saga. |
