Things were working out, so I thought it was time to start thinking about more further future. I wanted to be here for long, I wanted to be succesful so that's why I was walking to the airport in Bucharesti earlier in the morning.

I was meeting a friend of mine, he was here to help me. He was going to be on the club's payroll. He is my right hand man, but he isn't going to be an assistant manager or anything.

He is more like an office role, he will help me handle many stuff, from business to relationships. He knows about football and how it's done, he has got a 10 year experience, I met him in Rome many years ago in one business dinner. He isn't old eventhough with vast of experience, just over thirty.

"Here, Ciccio!" I shouted at him, Ciccio is a short for Francesco. "There you are, where are the contracts?" he asked me with a grin in his face.

"Hours away from here. Haven't seen you in ages," I told him. He went on to explain what had gone on in his life until we sat into my rental car.

There we started talking about some more important stuff.

"So, you know how it works?" I asked him. "Ofcourse I do. We will win! no matter what," he had a clever tone on his voice.

"I don't know about the corruption in this league, but I tend to think it's huge. Over that space of time I've spent here things really seem to be very weird. We need to use that immediately," I told him.

"Yes. I hope we don't need to do dirty stuff, but we cannot have any risk. I want you to win the title, I promised to help you become one of the best known managers in the world. I will fill in my promise," he answered.

"What are you planing next?" he asked me.

"I don't know. I'm still on the verge of a dilemma. I like the bunch I have available, but there could be some nice additions available. I think I watch the couple of first games of the season first and then maybe make some last minute deals."

Sooner or later we shifted teams and during the long drive back to Timisoara there was much to talk between old friends.

I doubt there'll be a one. I though maybe one day get back to it, which is unlikely considering past experiences with stoped stories.

I would want to play that game a lot, but with the lack of time, I always tend to click open for the other game.

I went to the club's offices in the morning to sort out some papers for new players as we were quite busy lately with that as I was planing to make couple of big scoops which will be talked about later.

I mean big scoops in Romanian level, not like I'm going to bring in some big stars like Ronaldinho, Messi or whoever.

Chairman Marian Iancu, first time I mentioned his name because I tend to forget it all the time, approached me with a some news that were supposed to be great.

I told him that I'll need to make a phone call to our number one target of the transfer window, Elias Bazzi, who was the best defender of the league last season. Though he said he needs to tell me the news.

"What on earth is such hurry. I need to make that phone-call," I said as I sat down on the couch, "Bazzi's agent told me to call to them somewhere between 10 to 11 AM. Otherwise I don't damn have a chance to get him! I'm already 30 minutes late as I ran out gas on my way here."

"Listen to me," he said to me. I think he had problems understanding English. But I said it simple.

"We've just finished negotiating with Milan. They are now going to send us their players for free loans and pay us 100 000 pounds every year," he told.

I was shocked, not pleased with it, just shocked. My new club links up with Milan behind my back.

"Why couldn't you tell me about this all," I asked him. He said that they thought it was unnecessary.

I didn't want to get any trouble so I kept my sarcastic comments for myself, but I still made a pleasant request for him to cancel it.

"The papers are already signed, it cannot be canceled before the next summer," he told me.

I explained to him why I don't want to link up with Milan, but he kept saying it's for the good of the club. I was getting suspiscious though. I thought my dad was behind all this and I needed to make him a phone-call.[/quote]
