Default 4-4-2 or 4-3-3

Ok.. I usualy Play a 4-4-2.. and it pretty much always comes good for me.. sometimes swap the 4 in midfield about as in 1 Dm and 1 CM running forward.. but always a 4-4-2... Do u still get good results playing a 4-3-3???

Also i like playin with Target Men... Usually setting my attackin midfielder as the key target man with my strikers as the other two.. How do you guys use Target Man.. and does it work for you??

Cheers

Steve :decision:

I use my target-men as strikers. If tall then pass to head and if small and fast then pass to feet. I think 4-3-3 is equally effective if not more, it depends on how good are you at tactical instructions and fitting them to your teams strengths. As the lone striker in 4-3-3 I would use someone than is a very good finisher and at least decent header, because if he wont be clinical enough you wont be succesful. The second most important thing if not the most is your wingers. They should be really fast, good at dribbling reatie and have a good goal instinct. Crossing is nice to have as well.
I played 4-3-3 with Barca and I was succesfull, but I had world-class players, so if you have a team with not so much talent I suggest a 4-4-2.

I only switch to 4-3-3 when I have tall and powerful striker who can head well

e.g Toni , Klose ,

but I feel its the best way to score loads =p
4-4-2 when I prefer to slow down my pace abit in the later games or against team who attacks lots
