Hi,
I have read all the previous posts and suggestions in this forum but I am after some more advice for Bristol City, League 1. I have been given a grand total of 100k and am interested in any players any position within my budget. Any loans that would come to League 1 sides would be appreciated too.
I have my eye on Danny Hayes of Ipswich, Nathan Dyer of Southampton and Matt Jansen and Alou Cisse on a trial basis (initially).
I have asked for parent clubs and am still waiting for recommendations, although I have never had any players offered to me by parent clubs before so I doubt it will be much use (except for the money gained). Also unless I am missing something why do other clubs state the purpose of the players loan but you can't ? (ie, cover for first team)
Anyone else managed a league 1 side and who can you recommend ?
By the way I have discovered in other games that sometimes you can get offer nothing for players on the transfer list and still get them. Hi mate, not posted in here before but here goes.
I went forest and got them promoted.
I bought quite a few players after selling 8 or 9.
Allan Mccormack from preston i got for 80k, excellent buy, done well in the championship when I got up.
Get the boy sturridge from man city on loan, scored 25 goals for me that season.
William stanger from Rangers can be bought for as little as 5k-excellent young player.

try and get daniel sturridge on loan hes an excellent player also when you get a parent club they will accept loan deals for their youngsters even if they aint loan listed |

Mohammed Ouseb is a very versatile player you can sign on the free but doesn't come until Dec. 30th but is worth the wait
Vincent Enyeama from Bnei Yehuda is amazing for price and would be world class for a League 1 team
PS.. Might need a bit of cash around 50-150k is worth normally prise away for 175k

I'm orient in league 1 (Second Season) and got Florent n'Gulua (DCM) - Had him from man u on Loan for a season, worth about a mill, contract ran out and i got him on a free. Top player.
Have arsenal as my parent club and loaned Denilson, and their young left winger, frampong (?)
Also, try to get Pekhart from spurs on loan. Seriously tall player who wins 29 out of 30 headers a game. I have him upfront with Kenwyne jones who i got from southampton for 10k. Also, Dave Martin (DL/ML) (Alvins son) from spurs on loan. Jamie Guy (FC) (colchester) was a good prospect until Wrexham nabbed him on a free. Got Paul Jones on a free, still a top GK even though he's 40. Curtis Osano is also a good DC/DCM. or basically, just check out Lyn Oslo. They've got quite decent cheap player.
Browse through the Swedish/Norwegian U23/U21/U18.
Try loaning Carlos Vela, James Keene, Sturridge.

I took over Bradford and ran away with the League first season.
I thank Johann Smith for this:

Eddie Stanford is the best AML for League 1. 15+ 25 Assits in about 45 Games. (Buy him - Don't Sign him at the start. It's cheaper)
Marc Nygaard. Him and Smith ran riot. Big man small man combo worked well. He netted 15 goals in 30 odd appearances.
Kevin Mcdonald MC from Dundee. He's 20 and quality, 5k well spend.
Alton Thelwell - Cheap and good at RB
Mark Phillips - " " and CB

DJ Campbell - can usually pick him up for under 200k. Has played around 100 games in my Swansea game in the league and scored around 60. Im in the Premiership now after 5 seasons - he's still my first XI striker and worth around £4 million. Class buy. Also look through the Norwegian and Swedish U21 teams you can find wonderkids there. im tranmere in my game, i signed Ajide from bellinzola for 45k comp. and ive got isiah osbourne (mc) on loan from villa, hes always gettin man of the match awards. tried to get agbonlahor from villa as well but my board wouldnt pay his wages so they wouldnt loan him, but hed be quality in league one i rekon | | | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to edthevillaman For This Useful Post: | | | |
