Quick question :

How much revenue do you get for going through, and winning, the play offs rather than finishing 2nd ?

I realise that you get money per league placing, so for arguments sake if you finish third or fourth and get promoted via the play offs how much extra cash did you get in prize money, gate receipts ? Is it almost worth going through the play offs than finishing second ? Although the obvious benefit in finishing second is you don't have sit through the play off games in cold sweat and in state of hyper tension !
