How people just nicely ignored the post regarding Shearer is beyond me. Not only was it a brilliant buy, of the man who was to become THE top goalscorer in Prem history, but it also reads like a storybook. Man signs with his boyhood town over, arguably, the most well known club in the world. Just because he wants to play for the geordies. How can you not love that? And it'll never happen again in this day and age of big bucks. |

Bryan Robson - Man Utd
Without doubt the best midfielder Utd ever brought (Keano included) the 1.5m fee Utd paid the Baggies in 81' was a record for a British player, he went on to become established not only as a Utd hero but also an England Legend. Captain Marvel was indeed one of the great players, just a shame his managerial career hasn't followed suit.
