hello gents

i've followed the FM Formations FAQ to the letter, but for the life of me I cannot seem to find the place to select the FM Formations database, as opposed to the standard 7.02 DB

i have unarchived the file to its own subfolder under the "My Documents/..../db" folder and to be certain, i even put a copy in the "C:/Program Files/.../data/db" folder.

when i start a new game, where do i specify that i want to use the FM Formations database? i then tried pointing the "USER DATA FOLDER" to the FM Formations subfolder and tried again. still no joy. i then shut down and restarted FM and still n joy.

i swear i am about ready to volley this laptop out the window :embarassed:

:O i had this problem, i had to re-install FM, i dont know if there is any other way around it though

but remember, if you do this, put all your graphics, save games etc in a safe place, so u wont have to download them again :D

darn but tell me plz, where do i then select the FM Formations league ? is it in that USER DATA FOLDER place ? so i select the FM Formations subfolder? or the "db" folder ?

or is it in some other manner (like a drop down list or something). a screenshot would be worth a thousand words

did you extract it to C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\data\db\ this is where it should go, if this dosent work try C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\db\FMFormation's Database Update

then when you start a new game, there should be a drop down menu, and then select FMFs Database, if its not ther i suggest doing as i suggested before, unless someone else knows any different

i installed to both the folders, but no drop down menu appears when i start a new game. i am prob gonna try out your advice. but if possible, could u plz post screenshot of what the drop down should look like ?
