Default Player Stats ,

So I haven't got through my first season since I was restarting the whole game after I read that the original version of the game won't let the player stats increase even with a good training schedule provided.

I'm going to ask a bit about player's statistics. Using Genie Scout I can see their actual stat (in the future) might look like if they are being nurtured properly. But the improvement is only in the technical and mental areas respectively. The genie scout does not show the future stats that might have increased due to training in the physical areas.

Let's just say that if I buy Bojan, the potentially world class player from Barcelona. He's 15 years old at the start of the season. His pace is only 14 and his stamina is only 9. Will that changed in the future?

At what age does this physical attribute reach its peak for every player?

Is it going to be different for different player, or is it going to different for player with different position?

And moreover, what does the scout rating (in percentage) tells you in regard to his ability? I've seen that this ratings does not necessarily parallel with the potential ability of a player. Micah Richards has a better potential rating with 178 potential ability than Gerard Pique who has 185 potential ability (in my game)?

Thus come the question, how is this current ability and potential ability work in the game? I mean, does it determine how high of a stat can a player have? For example, is it possible to have a super player who has a 20 in each of his stats while he is only having a current ability of 150?

Share your findings and thoughts please? Thank you

I think the ability points are proportional to the total technical and mental stats, and the percentage is how well a players stats are suited to a specific position.

When a player reaches his PA, his mental and technical stats cannot improve any more, so you wouldn't get a player with all 20's and PA of 150, unless you were to use an editor.

Physical stats change over a players career. They increase quickest when the player is still young. When the player gets to a certain age and is past his best and coming towards the end of his carrer, these stats then start to go down again, as you would expect and as is in real life.
