What it is, is maybe, just maybe, you know when you start a game and the team talk comes up, go to the pnal insructions thing, were you can select the type of marking, tackling, closing down and show onto foot. Usually I have tight marking and closing down (sometimes hard tackling, depends on the team I'm with or againist) on ST and CM, even late on these will stick (unless they sub one of the CM or ST, tghen you just do it for the player after coming on) and hopfully you won't concede, I rarely concede with a Liverpool team, playing Rafa's away formation, with 3 at the back. Remember when you are doing that to click on the little kinda shaded arrow and the players name and stuff will highlight in kinda green, that makes instructions to do such a thing to the outfielders on the opposing team. Hope this helps :) | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to Keav For This Useful Post: | | 02-08-07, 12:18 PM | #10 (permalink) | | Decent Youngster Join Date: Aug 2007 Posts: 1 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | Play defensive with short passing and use pre game manager comments. Always seems to work for me when those goals start leaking | | | | | 04-08-07, 01:33 AM | #11 (permalink) | | Hot Prospect Join Date: Jul 2007 Posts: 54 Thanks: 1 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | I always concede about 1.5 goals a game in prem because I'm a crap manager :D I do score 2.5 goals a game though so I can still finish fairly high but I have no idea what to do with defensive tactics at all lol Do hard tackling on the wingers (if they're good) is all I would suggest | "We are in a tough group, Brazil and Croatia are very good teams" - Zico (Japan coach and Brazil legend) after the World Cup draw in Germany, lol @ Zico | | | 05-08-07, 09:31 PM | #12 (permalink) | | FMF Moderator Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: Dundalk, Ireland Posts: 2,709 Thanks: 203 Thanked 408 Times in 335 Posts Nominated 1 Time in 1 Post TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | play 5 at the back with a sweeper to sit behind the back four. have your defenders have tight marking and do not play the offside trap, cause you can get caught out. Deep defending also is advisable. | | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
