Ok Everyone,
Well the demo has been out a few days now...what does evryone think about it? A great leap forward? or just babysteps?
I like the new interface.Seems easier to navigate about. I like the subs warming up during the game...but think there should be a manager icon that you see pacing up and down the touchline.
Im not too keen on the coach limitations.
Will add more when I have played the demo longer.

Im really impressed.. theres a few little things Id change and add... but over all
looks smoother.. and plays better

I love it,
First thing that made me smile (call me sad if you want) is that when you buy/sell a player their value is the amount you payed for them. I find i dont get ripped off as much with transfers like on fm06 where i used to always have to sell players below their value.
I love how my scouts rate/recommend players without me asking and i love the little scout card that gives you and idea how good the player is. Also although ive not had chance to try it out yet, the feeder club aspect looks neat. And the screen what tells you if the board will consider giving you extra transfer/wage funds is updated so you know if you should ask or not.
The Match engine looks alot smoother although the sound wasnt working on mine (Anyone else have this problem or was it intended?). It brings more realism to the game watching your players running up and down the touchline warming up. I like how i can add a pic of me to the game at the start and a SECOND Nationality thats cool.
Overall Can't say if its gonna be good or bad cos i ain't played a full season yet but it's looking good can't wait for official game release. |

I like the game.
Altho', two things are driving me a bit crazy.
First: Cards galore!! Am I the only one experiencing a red card or two in 1 out of three matches? I don't use hard tackling (except on my DC, and they NEVER get a red card). Mostly my MC and WB R,L get the red cards (and the opposition).
Second: The pitch-view speed at highest setting was perfect in FM06, now it's way too fast. It's a shame the gap between the next fastest and the fastest pitch-view is so much, makes it hard to look.
Oh, and one more thing regarding the pitch. I really think it's rather unnecessary (altho' a small annoyance) that when the keeper has a goal kick, the striker on the opposing team is gonna kick the ball back to the keeper, and sometimes misses on the ball, then heads back to try again. lol, silly.

im stunned with the level of realism in this, in a game vs maritimo they got an equaliser in the last minute with an offside goal, and after the goal i had the option to complain about it, AND I DID!
in a game Benfica vs Real Madrid (me being benfica) after i scored the opener the game went to crazyness, 7 yellow cards and 3 red cards, Leo from benfica got sent off for two feet takling, Cicinho got sent off for headbuting and beckam got sent off after recieving his 2 yeallow for complaining Cicinhos red. man im loving the realism on this, well the 1-0 vicotry isnt very realistic but i guess im a good manager :P | | | | | | | |
