We've had the challenge laid down North of the Border - but now it's time to rope in the proper football from Ireland into the arena.
Two paths to this - the moderate option or the hard option.
The Moderate option is to take control of Bohemians from the eircom League of Ireland Premier Division.
The Hard option is to take control of Kilkenny City - who routinely finish near the bottom of the eircom League of Ireland First Division.
The aims are as follows:
Win your resepective divisions (in Kilkenny's case - both the First AND the Premier, in the case of Bohemians, just the Premier)
Win the eircom League Cup
Win the FAI Ford Cup (the Senior Challenge Cup)
Win the Setanta Cup
Be the first side from the Republic of Ireland to qualify for the Group Stages of the Champions League.
