Well try and beat the premiership with Portsmouth, I found it quite hard to even keep up with the bottom of the league, I'm quite sure it's possible though.
Only my first season with Portsmouth yet, board says I should survive in the premiership, so that's what I'm doing for right now;)
Made some alright transfers starting my first season:
Wason Renteria : about 18,000,000 $ (including about 7,000,000 $ over 24 months)
Christian Alvarez (River) : about 1,000,000 $
Eduardo (Dinamo) : about 4,000,000 $
Manuel Fernandes (Benfica) : about 11,000,000 $ (deal was already settled when you first start with Portsmouth, just have to w8 till january '07)
Mauro Esposito (Cagliari): about 9,500,000 $
and I already signed Fabrizio Miccoli from Juventus/Benfica for next year, but since my finances aren't to well after all these transfers I'm just hoping for that to take place... If not.... Too bad;)
Think I got enough talent to work with for now....

On FM06 i started as pompey ages ago and my 1st season i came 2nd ! |

1st season: Finished 5th with a very young team
2nd season: Finished 5th again. 3 pts behind Blackburn in 4th because Arsenal lost to them in the last game of the season. UEFA Cup Quarters, lost to Newcastle on away goals because of an own goal by a debutant lol
3rd Season: Struggled, found myself down in 16th but have since beaten Arsenal 4-1 away and have got back to 12th, still with hopes of a european spot. In quarter finals of uefa again.
