Another great new feature of FM07 is the fact you can now have feeder/parent clubs and many different options with them. First I will explain how to get a feeder/parent club depending on the size of your club. Also then explain the Pro’s and Con’s of both.

A great point about this is you can have both a Parent and a Feeder club if you are not a world class team. Which is a huge benefit depending on the deal you get with both of them simply for the fact you can have the pick of good players from leagues above and below you without scouting as much as previous versions.

First we will look at Feeder Clubs.

If you are a top club you can have a few lower division or lower division world wide clubs to have as feeder clubs with many different set ups. Such as a feeder club where you can loan players out to, a club who you will just play friendlies against each year and give them a certain amount of cash and so on.

Getting a Feeder Club.

First you need to approach the board by going into Menu – Board Room and clicking on the Board Options. From that you will get a list of options, some of which you will have seen before, and one will be “Search for feeder clubs”. The board will go away and look for clubs for you. This can take an unlimited amount of time. Once done the board will report back to you their findings.

Image 1 shows you the news screen when the Board Room come back with a possible group of clubs for you to choose from:

The rest of this guide with screenshots is downloadable from the link at the top of this thread!! :)

If you wish to place this guide on your FM site please PM me first so I can follow who has this file and inform you all of updates in the file!!

Something else you have to look out for with Fm07 and feeder/parent clubs...

To get the most from the players you send to them clubs or get fromt eh clubs make sure you choose feeder/parent clubs that are leagues you can play!.... not just run in the background...

for example if you are Liverpool in the EPL and you have a choice between a scottish side and a japanese side to be a feeder club... and you have the Scottish leagues loaded up into this game choose the Scottish team even if the money is less..

I do believe you do get a benefit from this!
