Home and Away Kits

Overview
Formed as Newton Heath in 1878, the 'Red Devils' became Manchester United in 1902 and were crowned Division One champions just six years later. The FA Cup was also on display at their Bank Street home before a move to Old Trafford was secured in 1910, with another league title sewn up under the leadership of Ernest Mangnall. The inter-war years were barren for the Reds, but Sir Matt Busby became manager in 1945 and his 'Busby Babes' won three league titles in the 1950s. However, tragedy struck on the return from a European tie in 1958 when an air crash in Munich claimed the lives of eight United players and robbed the world of one of the most exciting teams of its era. Busby survived and led United to league glory in 1965 and 1967 before a famous and emotional European Cup triumph in 1968. Frequent success in cup competitions, including lifting the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1991, translated into league success in 1993 - the inaugural season of the FA Premier League (1992-93). The red machine went on to dominate English football under Sir Alex Ferguson's leadership. An unprecedented double of FA Premier League and FA Cup Doubles were captured in 1994 and 1996, before 1999's thrilling FA Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League Treble triumph.

The Squad - Profiles and Ratings (Profiles not linked yet)
Edwin Van Der Sar - 9/10
Tomasz Kuszczack - 7/10
Mikael Silvestre - 7/10
Nemanja Vidic - 9/10
Wes Brown - 8/10
John O’Shea - 7/10
Gary Neville - 10/10
Gabriel Heinze - 9/10
Patrice Evra - 9/10
Rio Ferdinand - 7/10
Darren Fletcher - 6/10
Michael Carrick - 8/10
Park Ji-Sung - 7/10
Cristiano Ronaldo - 10/10
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - 7/10
Ryan Giggs - 10/10
Kieran Richardson - 6/10
Paul Scholes - 8/10
Alan Smith - 7/10
Wayne Rooney - 8/10
Louis Saha - 8/10

Injuries to start off with:
Alan Smith – Broken leg, around two months.
Gabriel Heinze – Strained knee ligaments, around two months.

Recommended Line-up and Tactic Discussion
I would recommend the normal 4-4-2 line-up but with more of an attacking nature, in which the wingers and full back-s join the attack and get crosses in often. The two centre backs have to be strong in both tackling and aerial abilities if the defence is to work.

The midfield should have two trick, fast paced wingers, in this situation Cristiano Ronaldo and Ryan Giggs would be the perfect pair, unless you decide to find a replacement. The centre midfielders must be different, one of attacking flair, the other a player which can break up play and have good tackling attributes.

The strikers can be varied, the left flank striker, in this case Wayne Rooney, must be a player of power and good when it comes to passing and crossing as whoever plays this position very much becomes the playmaker. The right flanked striker can vary, Saha would be prepared but Ole Solskjaer and Alan Smith are good back up if needed.

The tactic below, which I created myself, was very successful when I last managed Man United. In three seasons I won the Premiership twice, the FA cup and Champions League respectively. Without no signings made.

Youth Prospects
There are many players that Manchester United are famous for producing such as David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Gary Neville, Ryan Giggs, Phil Neville and so on, the reserves and under-18s have an array of talent available to you, I’m going to pick some of them out for you.

David Jones
– David is a centre midfielder with the ability to maybe if trained well fill the Paul Scholes role. Jones made his debut against Barnet Exeter in 2005. Jones’ main attributes are his first touch, passing and composure, which means that he, is good on the ball. If trained in the right manner, he could turn out to have the same potential as a young Paul Scholes.

Ritchie Jones – Ritchie, like Jones is a centre midfielder but with the main attributes of bravery and determination. Meaning that he will probably fight tooth and nail to get into the first team. I recommended sending him away on loan for a season to maybe a Championship or League One club to get his stats higher and give him that much needed first team experience.

Kieran Lee – Kieran is a left sided defender and midfielder, with the potential to play in centre midfield. Kieran will turn out to be the next John O’Shea in terms of versatility and the ability to beat players. His main attributes are, long throws, passing, bravery, flair and stamina. I again recommend sending him away on a loan deal.

Again the credit of this Guide goes to Tarrantino

I have to say i disagree with that part that says Rooney-8/10 and Rio Ferdinand 7/10. But apart from that it's very good.

Well number 1 it's old as David Jones is at Derby. Agree with Sheldon also. Not a bad guide though.
