Theo Walcott Career History: Theo Walcott only started playing football when he was 10 years old, relatively late for an English schoolboy. His sizeable talent though was immediately obvious to both, friends, family and school teachers alike. Theo quickly enrolled in his local football club, A.F.C. Newbury.
AFC Newbury is a football club based in Newbury, Berkshire close to Theo Walcott’s family home in Compton. Theo Walcott played for A.F.C Newbury as a junior before joining Swindon Town F.C.
Theo Walcott was ’signed’ as a 1st year Scholar at Saints academy. He often appeared and impressed in first team games, ripping Championship defences to pieces, at only the age of 16.
Theo Walcott had signed a pre-contract agreement with Southampton FC that stated on his 17th birthday he would sign a professional contract at the club.
Theo Walcott officially confirmed he had completed his £12m pound move to Arsenal on the 20th January 2006. £5m pounds will be paid initially (likely on Theo’s 17th birthday when he can legally sign a professional contract) and the rest will depend on appearances and performance.
Walcott on FM: My opinion on Walcott on FM07 is very high rated because i see him as atleast coming the top 3 best players on FM07, his pace and creativity are just superior....i play as Arsenal on FM07 and is now the best player in the game by 2013 and is still 24 years of age....i can promise you theo will never let you down in this game and SI have got this spot on that Walcott is something for the future. Walcott recently on my game has had the best form that ive seen on FM and at the end of this i will show you a screenshot of the " wonderkid " . If somebody asked me for advice or asked me if they should buy Walcott i would tell them he would be perfect if you was looking for a player in his position and obviously you would have to be a top team and would only cost 12 million pounds....yes 12 million....some of you might think yes thats fair and some might think thats loads but i can tell you his worth nearly 30 million on my game and i realy rate him so much in real life and FM07.....his going to be a top player in real life and in your FM game!!
