He made his first appearance for Rangers in May 2004 and after a spending much of 2005-06 on loan at St. Mirren, having previously spent nine months on loan at Ross County he is now emerging as one of Rangers' best players . He is a left/attacking midfielder whos crossing and passing skills are top notch and is also a dead ball specialist. Adam has been called-up for under 21 level football with Scotland and is hoping he will receive his national cap soon under national manager Walter Smith who has already spoking of his admiration for the youngster. Adam started the 2006-2007 Scottish Football season with Rangers in their match with Motherwell. After an impressive performance, he continued to be a regular for Rangers at the start of season and scored his first goal for the club in the 3-2 UEFA Cup win over Livorno in October with a screamer from outside the area and has since scored another against St Mirren which was a great long range freekick. In fm In Football Manager 2007, Adam's real life abilities are well reflected in the game. Playing on the wing will allow him to use his good dribbling and crossing techniques to get balls into the box and provide the strikers with great opportunities to get on the score sheet. Charlie's dead ball abilties in real life are also reflected on FM. He is one of the best free kick takers in the SPL on the game and will certainly score a few screamers. Adam can also play effectively in an attacking midfield role. He has amazing passing which allow him to bring in others around him into play. He also has a sweet left foot and is excellent at long range shots and finishing which will allow him to score from distance and get up with the strikers and score some too. Adam is a very intelligent player and his off the ball attributes are excellent on the game which will also help him to find space and use all his other excellent abilities. Your experiences Charlie was an integral part of my SPL winning side in the first season and went on to be even better in the second. I played him mainly on the left wing and his skills are evident. Playing 53 league games over two seasons, scoring 12, assisting 19 and picking up 9 MOM awards. After enjoying such great form for me, Adam was attracting interest of several club including Valencia and Liverpool but I would not sell him as he became my star player. At the end of the second season his stats had improved and his value was just under £5m and looked like he would continue to mature and become an even better player. Conclusion Overall this player has immense quality and could become a real gem in the future. I would recommend him to almost any team for back up at the least because his performances and consistency is absolutely amazing and will never let you down. | | | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
