This league is great to play in if you want a challenge. The 2 main teams are Shakhtar and Dinamo Kiev. They are both well financed and already have very decent players in their squads. Outside of these 2 it can be difficult, however with the right signings and tactics, you too could challenge for silverware. European Qualifying: Top 2 : Champions League (1 group stage, 1 qualifying) 3rd: Uefa, 4th Inter-Toto. Bottom 2 teamsare relegated. Due to the location of Ukraine, there is a mid season break, this usually starts around the end of November and ends in the first week of March, so try and arrange friendiles or tours to keep you players nice and fresh. Your squad can have as many foreign/non EU players as you like, but you cant have more than 12 in the match day squad. This can be a little difficult as at least half of the players who start at your club will be foriegn. Although your squads have good players in, you might want to strenghten if you can. As Ukraine is'nt the most of attractive country, you will find it difficult to attract players from western Europe, so have a good look at Poland and Russia. You will find your youth teams packed with potential talent, so please dont neglect them, you will regret it. Overall this is a good league for a challenge if you play as someone other than Shakhtar or Kiev. If you do play as one of those 2, you will find yourself demanding your players challenge for European honours as well as beating your arch rivals. I usually try wth Shaktar as it is the easiest to win league and cups.
