How to add a skin to Football Manager 2007 I Will be showing you in this tutorial how to add a skin to your Football Manager 2007 game, using WinAce. For the purpose of this tutorial I will be showing you how to do it with the Sparta Skin. Once you have downloaded it to your computer it will look something like the following depending on the file name:
 From here you then right click the file so you have…
Click where it says Extract to…
Then select My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\Data\Skins
Let it extract into that directory and wait for it do fully be done, if you now go to My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\Data\Skins
You will see the skin file, in my case Sparta.
Now you need to open up Football Manager 2007.
If you have no skin installed already (unlike me) you will then see a different screen similar to the following:
Now in the bottom right corner look for something like the following:
Saying preferences and with a tool. Press this. You will see the preferences screen, On the right hand side of your screen is the navigation panel, Look for Display & sound and click this so it turns a different colour.
Now look at your main screen (Window Settings) you will see that it now tells you the skin you are currently using as you can see mine is called Aero.
After it says your skin it has an arrow looking like:
Click that and you will see all the skins that you have in your Skin folder that we extracted the skin to earlier.
Then select the skin that you want to use, in my case Sparta Praha.
PROBLEMS
You may have the same problem as me, which means it doesn’t work if you install it to My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\Data Skins, Don’t worry though, the answer is…
Extract it to C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\data\skins
Then it should work fine, Any other problems? Then be sure to PM Me.
